I would keep Ezzard on the watch list as well...think he could be the third name.
And of course could still push for Schwartz if they wanted

No problem man. I'm in the middle of going over the 2019 class at the moment. Uga has 3 of the top 8 already. They have many kids that say they're 100% uga. Ugh...not pretty. I know we're close to 2018 signing day but I'm putting together a synopsis of where 2019 stands at the moment.

Regarding this weekend, I can put something together tomorrow after I look into a few things. Sorry I don't have it off the top of my head brother.

Good points. We had an in-home with Schwartz this weekend. I read/heard something about him reconsidering his auburn selection. I don't know if it's true but our coaches were pushing him this weekend.

I love Ezzard and I believe the coaching change at fsu could benefit us here in a big way. My only problem/issue is that I couldn't really find any articles, videos, etc...to corroborate my thoughts. I'm glad you're saying it because if he were our 3rd WR to go with Copeland and Watkins then that would blow the doors off my expectations. Fingers crossed.

Is Watkins a signing day kid? Think the longer he goes uncommitted the more Tennessee enters the pic. Actually they are already in the picture. They were so early playing time as he would walk in as their number two or three receiver immediately. With Us he is probably four or five. This is the kid I want running Jet sweeps and returning kicks. Higher on him than Toney even with Toney playing a year.

An in-home? So the dead period is officially over now?

Yes. Auburn was in home with Gouraige Friday and Saturday. Ugh bad news. However, Auburn sent 2 assistant coaches. The ol coach herb hand and rb coach....can't recall his name right now.

Edit: the article I found is from Dec. I saw the date at the top re: tomorrow's game and then saw the waterline below tgat said Dec 7...and automatically assumed January 7th. Lol...dead period isn't over.

I had a lot going on and I got crossed up. My apologies in advance.

I just can't deny they are killing it. All their 2019 commits are georgia players except for one Florida player. Hope they lose tomorrow. It is now a big deal to be from georgia and have a committable offer from georgia.

You're right but they have so many kids considering them now it's sickening. I'll put together what I've been working on sometime this week. Some great players already commited to lsu, alot of talent looking at fsu. Auburn has several along with a big time qb....I must have gotten through 10-14 pages of recruits to locate kids w UF interest and there just weren't a whole lot.

That's where Dan needs to step in and step it up.

I haven't heard when Watkins plans to announce. Hope he makes it official on his visit here this Saturday. I guess if we don't get him now its anybody's guess. With all the CB action on TOS you have to think he might announce this coming weekend.

    Gray,

I've looked for an official visitor list in its entirety but didn't find anything. I'm not sure if the 3 below are the only kids visiting. (I hope not) I wouldn't be surprised if Watkins commits to us if he already hasn't. Quay was on campus briefly last week and there's quite a bit of smoke surrounding this kid. He's the most athletic LB in this year's class and hes been a Bama lean for a long time. He's boys with trey Dean and Dean is confident he can flip him. I wouldn't be surprised if he commits this weekend too.

If he does, I'm not sure we'd be able to hold onto him for another month. This kid is a MUST GET at a position of need.

Justyn Ross is a tremendous receiver but I think hes all Dabos. He's a longshot for us.

Other than that I'm not even certain who's visiting this weekend.

    FRIDAY, JANUARY 12

I think I saw on TOS that Walker switched to 2/2.

No. I just happened to see that on Walker. Hope that's good news. They were acting like it was on TOS for some reason.

I would agree that it should be good news. I'd like to see if trey Dean will be on campus that weekend too. If so, we're good!

Edit: I realize trey is on campus.

I agree. The pressure could be unbearable on Quay.

I think its possible that this is the same thing NPF is doing. I don't know when his visits to auburn/Bama are but my theory is that he's been so quiet about his recruitment so it's easier for him to sneak out of Tampa in the middle of the night. ;)

Isn't Dean already enrolled? If so, he should be there. At least I would think.

He is. Im still getting used to the early signing period signees/enrollees. Hopefully Dean can work some magic on Quay.
