Or, his forced pace from alternative positions outdistanced the other guy's lobs.

    Or something like that.

Yes , machen makes us different because he wants to make UF a dry campus. Thx Bernie. People say it is just not as fun as it used to be at UF.i think kids like going elsewhere now. We are just not " the place" like it used to be.

^^^ Kids with 5.0 GPAs have different priorities than those that attended UF in the 80s/early 90s. Geeks rather than Greeks now dominate campus. Not as sports oriented or fan friendly. Back in my day you could drink at the Orange and Brew below the Reitz Union on your meal card and the goal was to visit every fraternity house during Rush parties having at least one drink. Windex at one house, Nuclear Jello at another, ..... The liquor companies actually sponsored the fraternity rush parties, with Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, .... providing the liquor and freebies for the parties. Going out to Cedar Key for day and hanging out on the second floor deck of bars listening to raggae music and drinking beers. Big changes on campuses, more stress, less fun, ... Glad I'm not a college student now.

Have you been watching the news at all in the last few years?

In case you missed it, we've got a former All American TE facing a murder charge in Boston.

Our kids are no different than FSU, Miami, Bama or anyone else's, if anything, one could make the argument we have more thugs than a lot of other schools.

Yeah. Got a TV. What's your point? Because of one guy, we're now Miami? Don't think so. Tell it to Timmy and Danny.

well I remember some players tweeting that UF was like the 6th ranked party school and FSU was 8th or something like that.

Just because the "glory days" that you guys talk about so often weren't as great as you make them out to be but are so awesome in your own mind doesn't make it a reality.

I bet this generation will complain in 20 years that college was so much fun back when they were screwing all the coeds they could, drink all night not remembering a thing and getting high while listening to some stupid club music crap and talk about how much the campus sucks now.

Are you really this naive ? Are you not fed up. What are you not seeing? The country , right now perceives UF as thug city . I can't argue with my rival friends. I have no argument. Please get real,,,,

You are in denial, over the last 5 years we've had far more arrests than Miami.

With all the bad publicity we've had the past few years with players getting into trouble, we don't need to be taking players kicked out of others schools for disciplinary reasons. I hope we pass or he chooses somewhere else.

The destination for former Texas WR Cayleb Jones is Arizona, following QB Connor Brewer, who became close with Jones as a recruit.
