He looks impressive on film and if he checks out, I do not see a problem with giving him a second chance. One thing I do not like is that on most plays you do not see him celebrating with his teammates. He either walks by them or barely makes an acknowledgement of them. It might be nothing but certainly something I would check out. If he is a ME first kind of guy , take a pass and walk away...

WM looks to be a very good judge of character and I am sure he will make the right decision. If the kid did come here and then screw up again, I would not even think much about it and would not consider it a bad move on WM's part.

I am not believing all that I am reading. We do not take kids that have been kicked out of other major schools. If the problems he had at Texas were not so bad, then Brown and Texas would have worked out a way to keep him. Our goal of being one of the top University's in the country should not allow something like taking this kid.

Would take assuming his character outside of this one incident checks out. I guess I'm just not above taking a player with ELITE talent just because of a fight over a girl. He obviously made a mistake, but let's not confuse him with Aaron Hernandez. If everyone who gets arrested has no business being a Gator, I guess we should cut ties with Morrison right now. Pat Tillman was once arrested for being involved in a bar fight. I'm just throwing that out there.

Now that being said, it's Muschamp's job to evaluate Jones's character before deciding whether to bring him into the program, not mine. I'll defer to him.

we are under enough scrutiny. taking someone else's problem player right now is not what we need to improve our image.

Let's face it, we are negative "publicitied" out. There are too many other top notch WR out there who deserve consideration.

As for him, I wish him the best and I do believe he deserves another chance at another great university. We just cannot bear any more negativity here.

all that "negativity" is thrown out the window once we win another Natty. Our team chemistry seems to be high, and quite frankly.....I don't think it's a good idea to anything just because of others. With that said, who gives a rip about the media....as if it's gospel - it's not bye the way. Long story short, if this kid is taking actions to learn from his past mistakes (like we all should) then what's the problem??

...and it sure does sound like this "negativity" is being embraced as if it's warranted. It's laughable to think that we are different than some other school.

Does that mean, we've already got so much negative publicity that anymore doesn't really matter? ;)

But have you seen the size of the women's tennis team at Texas? In all seriousness, the way Texas has played lately I would put my money on the tennis player. Well, maybe not in all seriousness...

I don't like the sudden bashing of tennis players. I am 6'6 and I play tennis.
