It kind of looks like his legs go forward. The guy kinda fouls his legs. Its a questionable call, but after closer review, Im not sure its even a terrible call.

throw in at tennessee in 04 the baker slap followed by not starting the clock. Take your pic between that game and the swindle. Either on is waaaay worse

This was happening long before Kobe. Reggie Miller was the one who started it. It's named after him.

They make this one look more egregious than it is. Yes without a doubt its a travel but it isn't 7 steps. He catches the ball while running/turning so they are never going to call that initial foot. That happens on literally every play. So his established pivot foot is his left foot while facing the basket. After that he takes 3 maybe 4 steps but not 7. Certainly still a terrible call though. Thankfully he fumbled the ball right after this gif cuts out cuz BALL DON'T LIE!

That wasn't really the refs, though. That was outside influence and corruption.

Painful stuff, but something else occurs to me when I watch those two teams play: man we've come along way. This year's Gators look like they would crush either of those teams.

Hmmmm - perhaps the ref is an alien who sees the universe from a multidimenional perspective and he saw something 4 or 5 dimensions away that influenced his call.
