It would require actually asking leaders(and getting a straight answer) what they think and feel about Obama and the US since Obama. Without that it is really just her opinion or perception. That said, how would you think of Obama knowing what you do? For me it's pretty clear the man is a lying gutless politician and this country has certainly become weaker on many levels since Obama became CIC. We're broke, and like it or not, Obama led the way. To me, that's what matters. I imagine most seasoned world leaders see the same thing- a weakened country with a lying politician at the helm. And if that leads them to distrust us I really cannot blame them. Sometimes when I hear him speak I think "oh would you just shut up you moron", and I imagine many leaders feel the same way. I know, and I imagine they do as well, he's saying something that's simply not true... or entirely true.

    Would you believe this liar?

We tried to warn the lemmings that he is an empty suit. Just words. Leadership of the world realizes it, congress realizes it, about 52% of the electorate realizes it and the mooch class does not care as long as the checks keep clearing.

I find it hard to believe that the rest of the world is wringing their hands because we're losing our street cred.

I would say citizens of other countries are probably not too worried about America being a good leader/example for the world.. but other countries governments are. A strong America (minus our war mongering) is good for the world.

Without war mongering we have no clout. Without our war mongering and the budget to support it, other governments will have to pick up the slack. They don't like that. I have two words to say to them: toughski, shitski :).

Noonan is right, Obama is not a leader of men/women... he's a man with no clue, he's an impotent/castrated man, on the world stage of despots and other world leaders.

Starting with his apology tour Barack Obama set out to take his country down a few notches. He has been very successful. Who pushed Syria into revealing their chemical weapons? Vladimir Putin. No one thinks that the threat of a vanishingly small single military strike caused Bashar Assad any sleepless nights. Who controls the Security Council? Vladimir Putin. Nothing happens unless Putin allows it. We are witnessing the shrinking U.S. president. Hopefully his term will end before he disappears altogether.

This is one of many reasons why I think we need to defund the UN.

Thank goodness Putin's demand coincided with ours. That was super lucky.

Which "Old America"does the world want back? Is it the one that they hated so much that they gave an incoming President the Nobel Peace Prize, just because he wasn't the other guy?

Yeah, and when the Iranians get their bomb Obama will blame Bush for it.

When they get it there will likely be a Republican in office and no doubt he'll blame Obama. Which will be partially correct, if you consider a sovereign country developing a nuclear bomb wrong, but if he wants to be entirely correct he'll blame himself, Obama, Bush, and everyone else who had the wheel over the many years it takes to pull that off.

And if the latter happens, I'll mail you a signed blank check to an account with a decent amount of dough in it. I'd literally pay to watch that happen.

America lacks moral authority. We dropped napalm in Vietnam. Aided the Kmer Rouge. Gave Saddam the coordinates of Iranian troop positions in 1988 so he could properly target his chemical weapons. U.S. targeted Iraq's infrastructure in Operation Desert Storm and took other actions that resulted in the deaths of perhaps 100,000 Iraqi children under age five. U.S. illegally dropped white phosphorus on Fallujah. Killed 120,000 Iraqis in the second Gulf war. Backed al-Qaeda and anti-democratic sharia in Libya. Bombed thousands of al- Qaeda opponents in Libya. Currently enabling the sharia-loving, Christian-beheading, liver-eating jihadi al-Qaeda affiliates in Syria. Drone strikes. Supported Muslim Brotherhood.

Peggy also predicted Romney would win by a landslide. She just "felt" it.

So Peggy Noonan, who promoted the Iraq war, still has a job pontificating on foreign policy?

    Wow!

Our credibility for anything and will to fight - see recent Syrian argument - were squandered in that snipe hunt by people like her who think diplomacy and foreign policy are the same as the posturing by junior high school alpha juveniles who must have impressed her.

    Please!

Libbies can scoff but Peggy is correct. Companies and employees want to be led. Football teams want to be led. Our Nation wants to be led. The US has been the only super power and freedom loving countries of the world, want to be led.

Obama can not lead and will not lead. He's all talk. He has lost respect. He is not feared. There is a leadership vacuum. Who is it being filled by?
