Probably because we already have one of the most highly thought of QB's for the 2014 class committed? For a long time...

no..i guess it tells you all you need to know.

i've seen the guy play a bunch and he's going to be very successful in D1. I'm guessing our coaches think he's a little undersized at 6'1..can't be his play on the field. His stats and intangibles are off the charts. Think he gets some better offers before signing date. This kid may be one in our own backyard we look back and regret not going after. My opinion.

I think he looks small as well. UF is taking 1 QB this year as of now who looks like a better prospect Worford or Will Grier? Maybe they will regret it but I doubt it. They have seen him play plenty of football he was Fulwoods QB last year.

Plus HS stats are extremely misleading and I think rather irrelevant for the most part.

Kid is small. I know they list him at 6'1, but truthfully he is closer to 5'10. I've watched him play in person several times & there is no doubt that he is exciting to watch, but I have a hard time seeing him excel in the SEC.

Another thing to consider is he feasted the last couple of years throwing jump balls to Fullwood, there were very few DB's in Jax that could even remotely contain him. All it took was a high jump ball anywhere in the area and 90% of the time Fullwood would come down with it. No doubt this padded his stats a bit.

You are not really talking with a great deal of knowledge here. He can win

That's interesting. This QB may be closer to Chris Leak's size. I wouldn't mind UF taking a chance on him to build quality depth.

Now regarding Fullwood, our "coaches" need to practice the jump ball offense/fade pass with Fullwood; do what he can excell at and take advantage of his height.

After seeing the Missouri WR's abuse our talented DB's and also seeing FSU's tall WR's do the same in their game, will somebody on the coaching staff please work on this type of technique?

If he's such a sure thing why is his offer list so underwhelming? Idaho, W Mich, MTSU, FAU, FIU. A bunch of mid majors. It would appear in this situation all of the major CFB coaches in the US of A disagree with your assertion that "he can win", otherwise he'd have offers.

Playing well against low level competition and struggling against the only good two teams weve played would put Tyler right in line where he was ranked/offered. Tyler has shown some good qualities, but his shortcomings have been magnified the past two games.

He gave specific reasons why he felt the way he does, and has seen the kid play. Why is he talking without knowledge?

You mean his shortcomings like a poor offensive line?

Not to disparage Tyler, he's done ok for us this year, but I hope our next set of QBs are more like Aaron Murray, AJ McCarron, and Teddy Bridgewater rather than Murphy.

What do they have that Tyler doesn't maybe a good o line Tyler isn't a works beater but if he could get even 10 seconds to throw and scan the field and not have 3 or 4 defenders in his face then he is a solid qb and he has better mobility than any one of those guys except maybe bridgewater

Besides racking up great stats against everybody but the Gators, what has Murray ever done? As much as I don't like either one of them, I'd take McCarron and Manziel over Murray or Bridgewater. Also, Marrioti and Winston over Murray and Bridgewater.
