I never really bought the hype. Had a feeling they would be exposed soon, considering how tough we played them in their house without DODO and Scottie. Also always fun seeing that OSU has lost 4 in a row now. Only team I trust in the big 10 in the fighting Izzo's

Michigan looked very good since McGary got hurt. I don't want to see these two teams in Florida's bracket. It's going to be a great matchup between Michigan and Michigan State this Saturday night.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume that a few losses means that a team isn't good. Playing on the road is tough, as we should know. In fact, we would be KenPom underdogs at Minnesota today. That's not to say that Wisconsin is great, but if we lose tonight (a real possibility), I don't think anyone should start a thread saying that we were exposed.

it was pissing me off to see wisconsin so hyped up. If we were healthy they wouldn't have been within 15 points of us on their own floor.

Hell the same with UConn also. UConn barely beat the Gators with Florida being hurt bad. Wisconsin is and has been overrated all year. Good team but not top ten.

I am with you, i was just pointing out that they lost 3 in a row now after some analysts said they were national title contenders(jay williams). 2 to unranked teams, however i do understand that they were on the road, the road is a tough place to win, i get it. I just started a thread about it because we played them, i thought we should have beat them even without Scottie and DFS; and now they are starting to look like the team i thought they would be. a good but not great team.

I get you, jax. I probably don't think they should have been a top 3 team, but when all of your wins are in a row, that seems to be how rankings work. If we were undefeated until last week and then lost our two games, we would have dropped from something like #2 to #12. Since our last loss was a while ago, we sit at #6. Seems pretty stupidly arbitrary.

So tired of seeing "they beat Florida". No, they beat 1/4th of Florida. No one who watched that game with a clue thought Wisconsin was a great team,

Dude you are forgetting a lot here. It wasn't just without Finney and Scottie.
It was with Frazier still recovering from being sick. Yeg still not able to jump from surgery. With walk ons playing 20+ minutes. It was Carter who is now redshirted trying to play injured. Walker not fully healthy trying to play. Hill's second career game. It wasn't just missing two players, it was missing two key players and half the team injured.

I know it's not a big hit to our SoS, but interesting that little Richard has hurt the Gators' SoS.

I know, I just didn't feel like typing it all and figured people pretty much got the gist of it, as you did.

Gotcha. Used to having to remind people on ESPN who casually toss out "well they beat Florida".

understandable, I know we are all excited to see what this team has become since they have been playing well and plus eventually we will see Skywalker. Gators have all the pieces to the puzzle seemingly. I will tell you one person on ESPN who loves the gators; is Jeff Goodman. He has a few good articles and often tweets about us.

Good thing is the committee considers injuries when looking at team's losses.
