Short answer, yes! If we keep Cook and Grier with our current freshmen on offense, we will be very explosive.

It is really not that hard to see. Grier will be playing with Robinson Fulwood Bailey Taylor Ermon Lane Adamn Lane and most importantly Dalvin Cook.

Our fans just need to be patient. 11-2 in the middle of building a program and changing from a spread to pro-style team is not easy. We are on, if not ahead of schedule and poised to do great things the next few years.

I don't think the philosophy changes. We will hopefully see it executed better. I expect a lot of runs still. And a better passing game, but with mostly the same amount and type of pass plays. Maybe when he is a junior or senior we will see an increase in the passing game. If he is able to make it into the circle of trust by then.

We were actually very balance in the Miami game...the execution just left a lot to be desired. I think Grier opens up the playbook a lot more, He's a lot more polished as a passer than Jeff was coming in and will have a better core surrounding him.

2014 sets up so well for us if we have the same staff and keep Cook.

Fingers crossed. It's going to be worth the wait. Taylor, Lane, Cook, Lane, Robinson...possibly Dunbar and Dubose. Patience Gators, patience.

Next year Driskill will be the starter. Grier will compete as back up. The following year if Grier starts he will be treated like Driskill because he is untested. Playcalling will be similar. Junior year if he and the receivers have demonstrated success we may begin to see offensive changes. Maybe if the receiving core has become trusted Grier is allowed to take some chances later in his sophomore year.

I hope Grier is everything he's hyped up to be, but I remember John Brantley set all sorts of passing records against the same types of schools that Grier is playing against. To me, Grier isn't big enough to make it through an SEC schedule. I think he's listed at 185 lbs. which is often inaccurately listed higher than reality.

Odds are about 100-1 against Grier starting, maybe 1000-1, as long as Jeff is healthy.

Agree. And there is virtually no way a true frosh Grier is better than a third year starter in Driskel. Driskel will most likely be very good next year.

based on what? we were hoping for that this year. yes there is alot of football left to be played and maybe, hopefully; he will put this behind him and shut up the haters. based on what we have seen there is not too much proof to be able to say that jeff will be "very good next year"

I doubt it...mostly because I think Jeff ends up being good enough to prevent it.

However if he keeps turning the ball over, it could happen.

Grier will warm bench next year unless Driskel is injured. No matter who the qb is, the overriding offensive plan is to outrush the other team and thats how you win...of course you can gain only 212 yds of offense but if other team has five turnovers you can still win  but thats a tough gameplan.
