If the guy who released the anti-Islam video is still in jail, we should be OK.

I believe Congress returns on the 8th. He said he still has to consult congress. Barring any fund raisers between the 8th and 11th, we will be cutting it a bit close but I think we might get there.

Let's see 9/11 falls on a Thursday this year, so if everyone -- and I mean everyone -- does their jobs, then the President will be ready.

First off, the course has to be reserved now. We are already inside of two weeks, and the Secret Service needs to do a good leader's recon of every possible position POTUS might take, from the pro shop, to the bar, to all eighteen holes. In the mean time, a little time penciled in at the driving range will help keep the saw sharp. Wednesday night, the White House chef needs to have a nutritious meal loaded with whole grains and other complex carbohydrates. Hydration is also a must, even if that means an extra trip or two to the little President's room during the night. A wholesome breakfast goes without mention. Finally, someone must persuade the President do some warmup exercises and light stretches before tee-off. Failure to do so could result in a pulled muscle or damage to the connective tissues.

All it will take is a little planning and a little professionalism, and the President will get through this without a hitch.

He hasn't been ready for anything other than having the EPA, IRS, FBI, CIA target American citizens and bashing hard working business owners, doubling the debt and running annual trillion dollar deficits.

Oh wait, he is very efficient at planning vacations and golf trips while people are being beheaded and while the middle east is on fire.

    I think that covers everything.

You exaggerate, sir. He has yet to use the CIA to do any such thing.

Does 'ready' mean that we are certain there will be zero attacks and zero Americans injured anywhere?

No, it doesn't. I already gave you the measurements of effectiveness above:
    -reservation
    -swing practice
    -nutrition
    -hydration
    -light exercise to prevent injury

I would have said sunblock, but I rarely remember to wear it myself.

In a short answer.....No. He will no doubt find out what may or may not happen at the same time the rest of us do, and he will be as mad as anyone could possibly be. He will promise to get to the bottom of it and make certain it doesn't happen again.

He will then either go on vacation or somewhere to play a few rounds.

    Rinse....repeat.

Fair enough. I did also fail to address attire, which in addition to appropriate footwear should include a large, comfortable hat.

C'mon now bill and be fair. Two years ago we only had ONE ambassador murdered and dragged through the streets, probably while Obama was playing golf or on vacation somewhere. Or at a fundraiser.

I bet we don't lose more than one or two ambassadors this time. So what's the big deal?

Hey, I flew into LaGuardia last year on 9/11, even going up the Hudson on the way in an looking out over Manhattan. It was a little eerie, however.

But when the terrorists cow us, they win.

The Pentagon will get word to ISIS and Putin through channels that Obama cheated on his golf score. That'll make 'em think twice about pushing him around.

If the murder of four Americans by terrorists in Benghazi was a failure by the Obama Administration (and it was), what do you have call this?

virginia I would call it failure of our intell- however, we were attacked on 9/11/01 also and it was a devastating attack to our Country and in our Country -to not heighten security around the globe at all American facilities on the anniversary of that attack was a lack of preparedness and now with ISIS we need to be ready- your boy was not ready 2 years ago

however you just keep carrying that water for you guy
