Thinking about the rest of the season and reflecting on past seasons the loss to Miami can either do one of two things: 1) snowball and we lose 3-4 games or 2) wake us up and we actually pay attention to detail. I believe as much as it hurt and never should of happened it will help us the rest of the season. Last year it happened late in the season with a trip to Atlanta on the line. We should now be focused and ready for SEC play with this garbage game out of our system.

    Fork in the road...

Hope the coaches preach that not only to players but to themselves as well...some of their jobs are on the line for next season...

Completely agree with the 2nd point, the team came out after the game backing driskel up and took the loss as a team and just seemed together I think they come back from next weeks bye and play the best game they've ever played against tennessee

If I believed in reincarnation (like actress Shirley McClain <sp>) I would want to come back as a middle linebacker and rip someone's head off. That said, ALL of our players should want to open up a can of whoop ass on UT. Does it help us.....sure damn better!

UT game will be hard well fought game by both teams. UF should win that game. I believe Muschamp is a good coach -- it wasn't his fault we had 6 turnovers v UGA last year....nor was it his fault for 5 vs Miami.

Coach seems like the real deal. I know we haven't beaten UGA but we came awfully close to it last year while beating LSU, USC, FSU and could've beat USC two years ago.

His focus will be on discipline, sound judgment and maturity. Talent....I'm fine with what we have (prefer a Rex-type QB, but we have JD). We do have good receivers and RBs. Please don't start saying "well we don't have so and so on the O Line due to injuries, etc." Biggest crap comment ever and a school like UF should have more than serviceable, focused O linemen ready to step in when one goes down.

I think we are missing a ton of leadership. I'm anxious to see who steps up.

Wasn't the Louisville loss supposed to help us? Every time we lose now are just going to say its okay it'll help us? Loser mentality.

Yeah if the Gators could just lose enough, they will really be on to something big.

It should. It's a lot easier to fix things when you can see the mistakes.

The things that need to be fixed were polarized because they were few and stood out.

I just hope the coaches see it for what it is and make the right corrections.

IMO, the main problem is that Driskel is not ready to be in pressure situations in a drop step pass read. He is done after the first read. He should roll out in these situations. At least at this point. It's a new style to him and it takes time. Those moves where you step backward or feel the defender coming at you is a learned behavior and when you have to think about it, you can make reads and better throws in the pocket (or know to run out of it). Right now I believe he's being overly coached to stay in the pocket.
