I wish Mack Brown would've stepped down after last season, and Muschamp would've been one of the top candidates for the UT job

I'd rather the Dean of Engineering pick our next HC than Foley...

These forums have changed since I was here years ago. I seem to remember comments such as these getting people threatened with all kinds of extreme sanctions. This new freedom of expression is taking a tad getting used to but I am enjoying it.

Amazing how much difference a year makes. They'd be throwing all kinds of money at him if it were Dec 2012 right now.

Are you kidding? Mention the name "Muschamp" anywhere in Austin and the collective sighs of relief followed by comments about dodging bullets can be heard for miles around.

Dean Martin could pick a coach who could win here. The singer or the one on Animal House.

After the 2012, 11-2 season, I think he would have been in the running - and Gator Nation would have been terrified that he might leave. After the 2013, 4-8 season, no one remembers 2012 and no one wants our coach. My how things change! I guess its a sign of the instant gratification, what have you done for me lately world we live in.

I believe the Dean in Animal House was Dean Vernon Wormer, Dean Martin was from Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield. Now back to bashing the HC!!!!!!

Foley coveted GREG SCHIANO when um first retired. According to SI. That tells me 2 things. Foley got lucky with UM and UF fball is in trouble with Foley at the helm. Any smart AD would have canned WM after GSU. Except JF.

I think the jury is still out on Greg Schiano. He did a remarkable job at Rutgers, which was one of the most pessimal programs in the country. I don't think enough is made about how well he did at Rutgers -- one of the coaching masterpieces of the past 10 years. The fact that they are an above .500 football team in the present day is a huge turnaround from where they were before Schiano.

Remember, college is very different from the pros. Bucs while not a good team, have shown lots of improvement ever since they parted ways with Freeman and inserted Glennon.

Next year is just a courtesy year for muschamp, in case some miracle happens and a light bulb come on and he learns to be a HC.

But my gut feeling is he aint winning the east next year and will be let go. He'll be back in a DC booth on 2015, maybe at Clemson or UGA or something. I pray we get a decent HC to replace him and the damage done isn't too great. I've accepted our fate, I dont wanna be like the Vols.

Wow ....unbelievable. The man simply cannot hire HCs. Ron Zook....Greg Schiano...Will Muschamp...great list he has there....If we fire Muschamp next season we need a committee decision on hiring the next head coach. If we leave it up to Foley he will probably make some stupid hire again like Dan Mullen or someone.
