You have to know opposing coaches will point to UF's horrendous O for the past 3 years under WM and will have an easy time convincing great recruits not to come. Heck, I'm a huge long time gator fan and what I have seen these past 3 years I can't blame any recruit for not coming. 3 years and what have we seen, crap on crap on crap. Even for some of you the 11 win season the O was crap and you know it.

WM will be back and recruits know his philosophy of blue collar smash mouth that goes no where. Sure, we can/will dump BP but this is WM football team and if he believes in a run first O, tough guy crap, it's exactly what we will get, crap.

The only OC's that will be interested will be ones that are losing their jobs next week.

If I was a top high school offensive player, there is NOTHING Muschamp could say to convince me to come to UF. He doesn't know offense, he doesn't hire anyone who knows offense, he doesn't develop offensive talent, he doesn't allow anyone to develop offensive talent by running the most boring brand of offense imaginable, and most of all he's clueless about all this so if I were to ever tell him about the problem of him not developing me as an offensive weapon, he would just call me soft and not tough and insist that I punch a chalkboard.

To get a good OC here you are going to have to go a separate contract with them that leaves them immune of other coaches losing their jobs. I would do a 3 year deal their own contract.

I agree, if I was a top player, why would I come here. Will Grier is a good guy, who is a Gator through and through, but I can't blame players for not wanting to walk into this mess. The Pounceys grew up as huge FSU fans, but they wouldn't have won titles playing for the Seminoles when they were in a messy situation.

A lot of guaranteed money, for sure. Still, you have to be hesitant about coaching for Muschamp. Reputation very important for coordinators and one bad stop can damage a young career.

I think the best we do is a retread or promote Joker Phillips.

Agree Dad, you would have to give them almost HC pay with huge buy out, and the change has to come quick to try to persuade recruits the offense will be different. The only thing is WM believes his philosophy of blue collar running and I don't think with him as hc that you'll convince recruits thing will be much different.

WM by the way is GC of auburn. GC had one great year too you know, all that JF is doing is extending the misery for another year. We will be nothing more than average with WM.

Opposing staffs don't even have to utilize negative recruiting to win the head to head battles that happen frequently.

Life's going to be really good for Dumbo and Golden this off season.

Please. We can beat UGA and South Carolina. We damn near did this year with the worst gator team in 25 years. Mizzou may be a one hit wonder, and LSU almost lost to Arkansas. Bama and FSU, probably not, unless Rapeis gets arrested, in which case we have a shot at FSU.

Even RBs don't want to play for WM's "pound n' pound" offense.

first priority of Muschamp and Foley should be to hire Philip Montgomery, the current Baylor OC. If we do manage to hire an OC like Montgomery or Holgorsen, should he be canned by West Virginia, recruiting offensive players would take of itself.

Miami already has 28 recruits, FSU 24, they are killing us in recruiting.
