Ben Affleck is the new Batman (Sadly)

    Luke Evans
    Karl Urban
    Ryan Gosling
    Matt Bomer
    Jason Momoa
    Jake Glyllenhaal(sp)
    Armie Hammer
    Michael Fassbender
    John Hamm

These are some of the names I have heard.

I say hell no to Jason Momoa though.

Jason is Khal Drogo and the new Conan the barbarian. He can't be batman. He doesn't have the look. I feel like it would be Clooney all over again. I love Ryan gosling but, I don't see him as superhero. I think Armey is the best choice. Or some unknown actor. This is from my daughter.

They should just throw Robert DOwney Jr type money at Christian Bale until he can't say no.

As Batman the gargling husky fake voice thing was unbearable for me. I would rather have suspended belief and just pretended no one can recognize your voice with a mask on. I also expected him to go all American Psycho at any point. His best work remains Reign of Fire and Equilibrium. As Bruce Wayne he was fine.

I'd be down with that. I didn't mind his Batman voice.

I don't think we need any more batman movies. The last three were fine and all but can't Hollywood just let something die?

Momoa is just too big, IMO.

Matt Bomer would probably do great with the part, assuming he can capture the necessary menace. Barman is supposed to be *scary*. Even the Nolan Batman fell short of this after "Batman Begins", got very slack on it. We were reminded criminals were afraid of him, but not shown much of him being frightening to them. His Frank Miller inspired "comeback" scene in TDKR was good though.

If he can do an American accent, I would be able to consider Richard Madden, too -- GOT's Robb Stark. Part of the problem is we don't know where, mythologically, the next Batman will slot in, whether he will still be fairly young or a well established presence.

Another actor I think could do the part justice would be Matt Davis, late of TV's "The Vampire Diaries".

Feldman. Corey Feldman. It'll be one of those things where some old washed-up actor reinvents himself.

They being the internet? Do a Google search of this topic and you will pages of results that add up to like 50 possibilities and suggestions. My favorite so far was Tom Hardy. Now that would be something.
