I thought they would struggle before the game happen because of Mizzous size. VH3 and Poole had never really seen something like that. Roberson did well but he always has vs big WR's. Gorman dropped some ints which really hurt. Also have to remember Riggs didnt play because of the targeting rule. I thought the bigger issue that game was the front 7 not stopping the run.

Purifoy is the worst tackler we have on the team, and he blows coverages more than any other corner. I hope to God that Purifoy, and Roberson stay, it can only benefit them.

Our biggest downfall against Mizzu was losing Ropo, Riggs and Jacobs.

Even though that game felt lopsided as hell, it was a one possession game towards the end of the third quarter. I believe the added depth would have allowed our D to stop the bleeding that occurred late 3rd and 4th quarter.

The Mizzou game led me to believe the LBs had regressed.

I think people just over hyped one LB. He had a lot of problems last year. The bigger issue is that the DL is letting people get to the LB's too easily. This really didnt happen last year with Floyd in the middle and early in the year with Easley demanding so much attention

The starting LB's last year would also blow throw people to get to the ball these guys have no done that this year. Not sure if it is want to or ability. Jenkins and Bostic didn't do it until their last year

Really, really, really sucks for Tyler, but I'm also happy for Skyler. The reason I'm so high on Mornhinweg is his decision-making. You guys will see (maybe) this weekend

I'm all for letting Skylar take shot at it. What can it hurt? If he can stand tall and poised with Clowney in his face, he will earn the respect of many.

That being said, it does suck for Murph. He really stepped up when his number was called.

Given the amount of times he's been sacked, it really feels unfair for him. We need to protect better. I really think we could've won two more games under him with better protection.

I think you are going to see an excellent case study in player development with Skyler. Let's see if he is ready to play Saturday. I hate hearing "there is no one behind him" when the depth chart says otherwise.

College Game Day app says that Murph is a "game-time" decision.

I think it has already been decided but I could be wrong....

No one knows who you really are, so can you possibly give us an idea of the locker room right now? What does your inside person say? I swear there has to be more to this decline than just Jimmies and Joes. Is Muschamp losing this team?

Our team is the only CFB program that I know of that has an "on deck" circle for the punter.....he usually goes into it when he are on 1st down.....

Now you've taken it too far...LOL

Thanks for the compliment. If I can post info that I get, I usually do. Some stuff I just can't post on the boards. I'm not very good at keeping secrets, so sometimes I do tell more than I should. :)

To respond to the OP's question, I believe that I have developed.

Specifically, I have developed an ability to spot incompetence in a coaching staff after three years of mediocrity on the offensive side of the ball. I think many of us have developed this ability. Sadly, some have not.

Yeah I think kelvin taylor father publicly stating his son has gotten BETTER in LEARNING the playbook and in pass protection assignments as well as Learning to recognize blitzes etc. A players development is as much or more mental as physical. It's no surprise you don't see that part since u are not in their heads or even speak to them.

And secondly I believe if you ask the players themselves they could all probably give you a plethora of things they have learned or improved upon.

I think what most on here are missing is the development of players I'd not just physical and what you see on the field. The biggest part of a players development, especially with young players is in their heads. Learning playbook, blocking schemes, reading defenses, under standing blitzing schemes, pass protection, terminology, picking up on recognizing opponents tendencies, etc. A lot of this is done in the film room or on their own studying. The physical part usually follows as they mature and get older, than results will usually follow.
