fsu also has a good QB commit in this class and for next class as well(I believe). In the recruit's mind they think it's just plug and play, and from here fsu will always be incredible. I would bet they talk to all the recruits about the "dynasty" being back... and "you can be a part of that". You know, typical coach speak and recruits probably hear that from players as well.

They can't imagine fsu being any worse without Winston nor UF better with Roper, Grier, new talent. It's their mistake. I just hope they are open minded enough to listen to that message from our staff.

Read on another site that Wilson is visiting on the 24th and says Lane will be with him.

I heard Lane is taking the SAT that weekend so I would be surprised if he visits.

Yeah, Wilson could be wrong, or it could just be bad info, or Lane is coming on an unofficial after the test. Just passing on some things I read.

If this is true them he probably doesn't have the scores to get into UF. Taking the SAT in January is only done if you are unhappy with your prior scores. Most application deadlines already passed.

FWIW..... Zach from GS said Lane and Jackson are not going to be Gators......Both headed to f$u.......may not have room for Jackson(f$u) who would then be headed to Miami.

We're better off moving forward from here. I can't see how anyone would still be considering Lane as a UF "commit" at this point. He's been off that list for quite some time, as far as I'm concerned; same thing applies to JC Jackson and his situation. Forget about both of them.

We all knew that 4-8 wasn't going to cut it, and that at some point it was going to hurt us with offensive prospects. Well, it's up to Muschamp and Roper to put a product that kids want to see on the field. Muschamp brought in an outstanding class of receivers last year, ESPN's number one tailback (KT), and thank goodness we have a class act like Grier on his way to Gainesville. So, Roper is going to have to be creative enough to get some of these receivers involved maybe a year sooner than expected.

Of course, the line is the key. For those who say UF lacks talent at the line of scrimmage, Humphries, Moore, Green and Trenton Brown all were rated four stars or better by at least one service. The only projected starter who wasn't highly regarded was Garcia, and he's actually the best of the bunch. Those appear to be UF's five best linemen, and the staff will have to figure out who will be put where and hope they stay healthy.

The talent is there if we can stay healthy. I don't think these kids expect fireworks, but you can't suck the way we have at moving the ball and not expect for it to catch up with you. It has clearly caught up with us, and winning is the only thing that will get the momentum back for the Gators.

Based on what? Lane keeps putting up both UF and FSU stuff on twitter. Also, no way Lane wasn't in on Cooks UA shannanigans.

I think that Lane might stick because FSU just got Rudolf.

I'll admit I don't follow twitter and I was a basing my opinion off of interviews and comments from recruiting scouts. Even doing a quick search about lane on twitter doesn't show me anything trolling at all.

I wish it were that way but fsu will make room for both, no doubt. And surprisingly fsu is not stacked at WR. Their last 6 or 7 WR recruits are not "elite".

I think FSU would def take him, but I think Lane might not want to go where Rudolf ends up at.

I doubt he comes to UF regardless, but we are in good position for Eric Lauderdale so Lane will face competition wherever he chooses to go.

I thought Benjamin was a redshirt soph so he can leave early and I'm sure he will. He's a 1st round lock

Yeah, Benjamin is a RS Sophomore and is 23 years old. He's flunked twice. Would be really surprised if he stayed.

FSU is easy, but I also thought high school was easy. He almost def leaves. Greene actually got more yards (possibly bc of the attention to KB), but there are a lot top flight WRs this year so he might be advised to stay and be in a thinner draft class next year.
