lol I'm joking. Thanks Candy for all you do!!! ;):D;):D

I'm excited to see what CDM can do with a full year to recruit.

Do we have a list of '19 kids that have been offered by CDM?

247 lists offers by year, here's UF 2019 right now: https://florida.247sports.com/Season/2019-Football/Offers with the warmth of their relationship with a given school in color coded words.

It's really amazing all of the Decommits from Mac's 2019 class that was rated on 247 at #1 before he left, with 12 commits, and now sits at #21 with 3 commits, with only Weston being a 4*. Georgia sits #1 now with 7 commits, including 3 5*, 3 high 4* and only one below their .90 rating (at .89).

The Dogs are really killing it.

Three 5*'s already? Anyone who doesnt believe there's some serious rule-breaking going on in Athens now is delusional imo.

Two of the 5*’s are WRs from the state of GA. You can’t really blame them for committing to their home state school when you look at the OL and QB situation at UGA. No team in America will be stacked like UGA at QB and OL when those guys arrive on campus.

Unfortunately I think this is the effect of the best QB recruiting in the country for two straight years. WRs want to play with elite QBs. Emory was able to convince Grimes, Jefferson, Copeland, and Watkins to come on board. Fields and Fromm probably have the same kind of multiplier effect in recruiting.

I can accept that excuse a couple of times, like about Fields who was a Dawg fan his entire life, I get that, but I have watched plenty of 5*'s go right out of Florida to the Ohio States, Alabama's, USC's, etc. too, leaving UF, Miami, and fsu behind... But all the Ga. ones are staying in-state?

I'm not buying what's coming out of Athens. All of this sudden tidal surge of 5*'s for Kirby Smart in just two classes is way too much too early. I smell a rat, and those rats are bag men.

I started a 2019 list a few weeks ago. It's never too early to start looking ahead. Maybe I'll link it here

There's alot of good 2019 info/tidbits in this thread. Not necessarily all about who Dan's offered but interesting nonetheless

I was getting tired of rehashing the same ol 2018 shit so I threw something together to get a jump start on 19. I have more info to add to it and some leans have changed since then so maybe I'll do another more detailed one when I return home from Palm beach.

I want you to use the same energy and accuse Mullen of cheating if next cycle he signs 4 or 5 5* recruits.

It'll be interesting to see how the narrative shift around here when we start to kill it on the trail

Thank you, been saying it for months. They must have some serious booster help to haul in all the top rated prospects.

Well, as soon as you sign more than one or two 5-stars in the same class everyone will accuse you of cheating. I agree, I hope they accuse us of cheating....that way you'll know we had a great class.

I can understand a rare event of three to five 5*'s in a class, especially if most were in your own state and if they grew up Gators perhaps, but even I would start to become suspect something fishy if we loaded up on that many again the next class.

Bama does it regularly, and many recruitniks know what's been going on up there the last 10 years or so. Then the best recruiter behind Saban, Smart, moves to UGA and pulls in a #3 class and a #1 class with seven 5*'s and already has three 5*'s lined up in his next class?

Sorry, not buying it. I don't care which program it is, even our's, id be very suspicious.

Oh no, here we go again.
Going into next year's recruiting cycle as of now we should have 83 on scholly (taking out Randy Russell) with 10 seniors. That only leaves 12 available to sign for now. The unknown is transfers in or out, anyone that has to drop (medical hardship or academics) and how many leave early. Most years we have 3 or 4 go pro and 4 or 5 transfer out or drop. The transfers should be higher but not much.
For next year recruits I'd say a low number might be 18 or 19 and a high of 22. Its unlikely we lose 12 or 13 players to open up 25 schollies. This of course assumes we don't add anyone to this year's roster (Gerald, Grad transfers, walk on offers). Those would only reduce our signing class even further.
Main thing it's important to realize as of now if no one leaves or transfers out then we only have 12 open schollys to start with for next year. That's very unlikely to remain that way but we have plenty of time to wait and see how it all unfolds.
