Man, I remember when the Durham investigation was going to prove how everybody was out to get Trump via corruption. I wonder what happened to that. I bet they got a whole bunch of convictions.

If Biden did the exact same things as Trump I'd support indicting him also.

In your eyes, what is the appropriate process to investigate and charge a former President when the opposite party is now in the White House? Or should Presidents have absolute immunity?

Yeah. That idiot from the School out West had a big thread about it and then disappeared after it went poof. He tried to sneak back in here but ran off after getting his comeuppance.

Think this could be a valuable campaign issue in Florida with the threat of offshore drilling, but have not convinced anyone yet

= record oil production = max oil company profits

Help me reconcile that equation please. I graduated with engineering degree but math wasn't my strong suit

Exxon-Mobile was down an astounding 25% profit in Year of Biden 2023. That cannot stand.

    Disregard the rest of reality.

Def don’t compare profit from 2021 to the “terrible” year of 2023.

    • Exxon annual gross profit for 2023 was $85.657B, a 24.99% decline from 2022.
    • Exxon annual gross profit for 2022 was $114.193B, a 77.87% increase from 2021.
    • Exxon annual gross profit for 2021 was $64.202B, a 107.49% increase from 2020

Oh stop it. You cannot be that that naive. Our entire system is quid pro quo. That’s the job description of K street.

I'm pretty sure it's an actual crime called bribery when you are that blatant about it.

Sorry. "Everybody does it" is not the correct response when trying to justify the criminality, corruption and filth of Donald Trump. Because everyone doesn't.

If you want to rationalize it, and/or a vote for Trump or his party of criminal enablers, please be honest. Maybe try "It's not that important to me." Or "I prefer bribery, corruption and crime to Democrats. "

Everyone does do it though. The thing that separates Trump is that he takes something everyone does, that makes people feel a little dirty already, and he takes it to the extreme.

I know, how dare these publically traded companies make a profit when our government can make our economy sucky by give away money for foreign wars and making the taxpayers pay for it. This government want you and I to make less while they want us to pay for their personal gaines though money laundering schemes though gifts of money while helping to proliferate wars in foreign countries.

Well I suppose my sarcasm was too subtle.

EM made 101% more profit in 2021 than 2020. Then made another 78% the following year.

The “decline” was almost 200% from 2020.

2022 was their best year EVER. Pure profits, not percentage increase. 2021 was their 7th best, ever.

This idea that they are victims of a hostile government is a little more than silly.

Although someone certainly killed them in 2020. Their only losing year. Hmmmm…..

I love how the Leftists "compare" supposed, and totally unconfirmed, promises by Trump to the actual acts BAD DEEDS of Biden. That seen like an easy deception/trick to detect... pretending to be an analogous comparison between Trump and Biden..

Oh look... more massive oil reserves discovered by Russia on land claimed by the British. Oil is here to stay and it's only going to be easier to get to is and to extract it in the future.

Meanwhile the Leftist are trying to crush our domestic oil production while other nations find more oil and natural gas reserves to exploit for their economy.

Someone in our congress is getting paid off... Maybe the congress needs to be audited.

You think oil in Antarctica, which, BTW, can't be drilled due to international treaty, is easy to extract?
