What is the formula for minutes that should be devoted to each individual tragedy?

    Something like

Houses Impacted By Wildfire x Duration of Fire / Deaths = X Minutes

I guess it depends on the agenda at hand. 1 punk is dead in one instance and 12 innocent people in the other so you tell me? I guess when black man kills numerous white people it is not as news worthy.

Too early to tell. But I would imagine you would have to find an equal population of folks that think the Navy yard killings may have been justified for the matters to be reasonably similar.

Don't forget the "country it happened in adjustment." So if it happens in the US, multiply your formula by 1. If it happens in another first world country, multiply it by 0.5. If it happens in a third world country, multiply it by 0.01.

Easily Trayvon Martin. It showed how blatantly biased and racist the media and democrats are.

I think the one you left out is the biggest. That would be Obama obsession.

Well since the POTUS spoke about Trayvon Martin 4 months after the shooting...
Maybe ya'll should wait until January...

BTW - Rhode Island police contacted the Navy about the crazy contractor before the Yard shooting...nothing was done.

    Way to go Navy.
If I was the family of one of the slain I would sue.

The TM/GZ case touched so many national hot buttons it clearly superceeds the Navy Yard shooting.

    1. Police bias against Blacks
    2. Florida SYG law
    3. Racial divisions
    4. Race hustling
    5. Obama's racial bias
    6. News media bias
    7. Florida judicial system
    8. Racial profiling
    9. Second Amendment
    10. Self defense laws
    and more

I don't get it. Conservatives started thread after thread about the Martin case. Many of you were even watching jury selection and posting continually on that. Every Martin thread had tons of responses.
And yet you guys keep complaining that it go so much attention.

Trayvon of course. The left can't raise hell about the DC murders and blame "white" latinos. But you can bet they will blame something, guns or the sequester.

The media will drop this story in very near future, while Trayvon will live on.
It seems that in some of these recent mass murders, video games was a big part of the perpetrators life.

Not necessarily. Every shooting is an opportunity to push 2nd Amendment restrictions. Of course, my understanding presently is that the killer brought only a shotgun with him, in accordance with the Vice President's guidance:

And, of course, it was already illegal to bring a personal weapon into the facility in question, already illegal to shoot people there, and already illegal to steal the handguns of (recently murdered) security personnel.

    Bygones.

Perfect tragedy for restricting the constitutional rights of all the Americans who didn't go bananas and murder a bunch of people for no reason.
