Every PBP guy is the voice of their team. Most Gators I personally run across don't care for Mick. I don't need a rehearsed Hawk Harrelson/John Sterling bit for each play over 30 yards. Maybe you like that stuff, but being disgusted by those that don't seems a bit much.

Can't stand there inability to be neutral - totally miss calls when it would benefit their favorite team (which you can usually tell 10 minutes into watching) and then the absolutely disgusting man love they show they gush throughout the game.

Much of this is in their love for Cheating Saint Bobby - a POS that cheated his entire career.

MIke and Mike. I can listen to them a nanosecond longer than Reba Macintire. It is a race to the channel button for all of them.

It's AM 850/Mick and the TV most of the time - but yesterday that wasn't an option as we had people over who wanted to listen to the tv

Actually most PBP guys all sound the same today, as the old school guys step aside. Mick isnt "old" in reality...but he is old school. I love it. For those of us who have moved away, he sounds like Florida Football, he sounds like home. Hes not perfect, but hes gator through and through. I know when he moves on, we'll get stuck with some polished professional, who sounds just like everyone else.

Also, most Gators I know have absolutely no problem with Mick.

As for the "disgusted" line...I was just using a little hyperbole.

Wow. I think they are the best in the business. It's crazy how we can all perceive these things differently. #differentstrokes

    Musberger.

As for Mick, I much prefer the David Steele days, without the corny lines, but I'm certainly not turning off a Gator sporting event because of Mick.

    Fair points Tilly.
I was listening to the UGA game while running errands Saturday and thought wow what a boring crew. Nobody had a personality or made one note worthy comment.
That said, being different doesn't make you good. There's Munson and there's Hubert. It really is an opinion here, there's no right or wrong.
