I believe that DRob was suspended for 3-5 games last year for various reasons. I don't think the reasons or facts were ever released. Maturity was cited as his biggest issue all of last year. He has all the talent in the world, but it's the space between his ears that he has to get right if he is going to be dynamic for Florida this year.

slayerxing is right. I think he was suspended the first game and definitely the last 3. Based on the timing, he would be my guess as the guy who tried to sneak a girl into his room the night before a game (obvioulsy there's far worse crimes) that Harrison mentioned.

That said, by all accounts it's sounds like he's finally gotten it together and I have high hopes for him, but like just about everything else with this team going into this season, we'll have to see it on the field.

Hope the baggage is behind him and he's all in for the next couple seasons. He is the most gifted receiver on the roster and has shown out on the practice field. With he and McGee in the lineup, opposing defenses will have to respect the pass. They'll not only help our passing stat's - but the running game as well.

Would love to see some redzone packages with Robinson, Fulwood and McGee on the field at the same time.

First 1 game suspension = positive drug test
3 game suspension = second positive drug test

Those are the NCAA rules, right?

Well IF he stays on the right track this offense fits him, from what I've heard. I believe he played in a similar offense in high school. Don't be surprised to see him have a good year if this is the case.

Honestly, expecting anything at all from true freshman is just silly.

I hear this a lot, but there are plenty of guys that come out and perform as true freshman now. I expected a lot from Vernon Hargreaves III and he delivered. Will all highly touted players come out and perform straight away? No, but I don't think it's "silly" to expect some of them to do so. Maybe it's something in the water (or the hormones in our meat products :eek::eek:!?!) ?

Its more the exception than the rule. Even now though there are more and more exceptions occurring:) in fact now that I think about it. Cistern is probably right, it could very well be the steroids in our foods. 20 years ago the ingredients list consisted of a few items, now it's a essay full of ingredients. :(

Hormones in the food system plus all the camps, 7 on 7's, weight training, more modern high school offenses, lack of seniors to compete against because they leave early, being held back at some so they are older when they get to college not some wide eyed 17 year old, not growing up on a farm or in a coal mine, etc. etc., there are numerous reasons why FR can be counted on and it is the norm now to expect FR to be able to compete at a NC level early.

At first I thought this list was intended to explain Winston's behavior.

D-rob was just trying to "score" anyway he could since he couldn't get in the game. :) No shame in that.

If the O&B game is any indication, DRob has the potential to turn this O into a big play machine. I think he is going to have a break-out year and will be a national name by November.

It wasn't Robinson. It was M. Roberson.

eh, you say tomato he says tomAto. Who's keeping track anyways. It Does show you the difference between us and fsu. If we were the clown school robinson would have been in there with roberson, you know "real" teamwork. It's a coin toss who would have been the camera man though. :)
