    EXACTLY!!!!

JD is going to have a few good games, some people will jump back on the bandwagon, but then he'll let us down again. I'm not saying that we can't win the SEC, but we'll have to have a few breaks go our way.

The silver lining of knowing (IMO) that JD isn't the answer, is that our offense doesn't depend on him as much as other teams.... We did quite well last year when JD's job was to just not eff it up...

I don't share your pessimism toward Driskel (don't even good quarterbacks have a letdown at some point?), but I think you are correct that Muschamp wanted an offensive style that is less dependent on the quarterback, just like Saban has, precisely because finding elite QBs to roll out against elite SEC defenses is hard to do on a regular basis.

I don't really think I'm pessimistic about Driskel (Unless that means thinking he'll never be "all world"), I just don't think that he's good enough to win us championships. I definitely think that he's serviceable, but it's going to take some good breaks for us to do anything of (relative) significance.

As down on JD as I have been the past week+, I really hope that what people are saying about him getting injured and not running him are true. I really think JD is at his best and can be a major factor when he's a serious running threat, which we all know he can be.

I think some fans believe their are QB's out there that dont have bad games or let downs. I dont know any QB's that are mistake free.

Apparently, the Gators have been holding back the "not turning the damn ball over" for the upcoming SEC schedule and may also be planning to unleash an all-freshman offense to satisfy the GC peanut gallery.
