Weis tries to jump-start his struggling team

So the guru has an offense which is ranked 115th, producing only 305 yards per game. Looks like Weis left our offense in the same shape he has created at Kansas.

He needs to fire himself to get that program back on track.

Kansas should have just stuck with Mangino.

He should have stayed in the pros.

KU's problem is pretty simple, and it's that their players are all pretty bad. A little of that's on Weis (he's hand-picked his two quarterbacks and has gone all-in on JUCOs), but there are no Xs and Os to make up for KU's massive talent deficit.

I love KU, but that's probably the worst BCS-level job in the country. Next time they hire a coach they should focus almost exclusively on recruiting ability.

The words "Weis" and "shakes" should not appear in the same sentence . . . . ever.

weis---the most overrated coach in the nfl and college in 20 years---he takes credit for "developing" tom brady--actually, weis had little to do with brady's success

Unless it's "Weis doesn't drink water, only chocolate shakes"

This means he wants his staff to stop at Krispy Kreme instead of Dunkin Donuts.

Can you imagine the offensive fireworks if Kansas and Florida played each other this season?

We'd lose for sure 3-0. Inside the 25 is where we're least likely to score points.

I'd pay some good money to see an all out eating contest at an all you can eat buffet between weis, ralph friedgen and mangino. They would really put it down.

Weis could do one more thing to "jump start" their offense....fire himself!
