Wet paper bag minus at least three versus this offense....

Can't take any game for granted. LSU, uga, f$u, usce all licking their chops....

Can you tell me the winning #s for the PowerBall Lotto? Just me...not all of Gator Nation...

To answer your question, yes, i do watch football...Gator football and in the last two BIG games we have had an anemic offense, a QB who may have reached his potential, and a head coach that thinks he is Nick Saban of the SEC East. Thinks being the operative word...:jeez::beat::wave:

thanks for your reasoned response..but you are slowly coming around to thinking that this could be 7-6 season...yes, not losing...but not where UF should with a 3rd year coach.

Yes, if we play like we did yesterday. But we only do that a couple time per season. Those couple of times will be losses. What makes you think that we'll have 5 more games with 5+ turnovers? I'm definitely not a JD homer, but he's going to have a couple of really good games where we destroy the other team even though we might be underdogs...

We are going to destroy one of UGA, USCe, LSU, or F$U? Really?

Our D will keep us in the game...please remember USCe and LSU are on the road in front of 85k+...

Yes Florida is the only imperfect team in the SEC. We don't have the athletes or depth to hang with the rest of the conference. Our demolition of USCe, LSU, and FSU last season was an illusion. You guys figured it out.

Beating FSU last year with a come from behind win in the 4th quarter after they turned the ball over 5 times is about their equivalent to what UF did against Miami. Doubt they turn the ball over 5 times again against UF. So, in that sense, illusion, yes. In the same vein, UF is not as bad as they looked against Miami. UF just needs to play ultra conservative football and they will win most of their games.

probably looking at 9-3 or 8-4---I doubt uf can beat lsu or south carolina on the road and uga's offense will put up some big points. hopefully they can upset fla state.

Except that we dominated that game. We ran right over them the entire day and but for a 7 minute stretch in the 3rd quarter we would have won by 4 TDs.

If we turn the ball over 5 times in every game from here on out we'll probably be 1-11. But I don't think that will happen and I don't think we'll have a losing season. I look for us to bounce back against UT.

i think a losing season is a bit of a stretch. you have to remember that we did move the ball well yesterday, but it seems that driskel has these games where he just screws up and makes AWFUL decisions. i don't think he screws the game up that badly again(but i cant be sure obviously) and i hope trey burton doesn't cough up the ball, and maybe will hand the ball of on a jet sweep instead of keeping it, like he does every single time. our defense will keep us in games, between uga lsu, usc, and fsu im hoping we can go 2-2, maybe 3-1 if we get lucky but really who knows with this offense. maybe they will surprise us like they did against fsu last year.

Don't think we shall have a losing season. Worst possible would be 4 losses, I think.

Last year it surprised us many with 11 wins... so who really know after all.

Some massive revisionist history. We certainly didn't demolish any of those teams. The USC score was lopsided due to turnovers. Turnovers are unpredictable. One cannot bank on 5 UF turnovers just like you cannot bank on 5 USC turnovers. The LSU game was extremely close and could have gone either way. FSU weren't we actually losing in the 2nd half?

We are playing poker on the field people... It's not the Oline, it is the fact that the opposing defense knows we aren't holding aces in our hand when it came to a viral RB and a QB that wont feel pressure and has been firing like a blind sniper. Jeff played well against FSU last year. Now what happened between that game and week 2 against Miami will have to change, or we will have another 7-6 like we did 2 years ago. Our program carries 2 of the SEC's 7 national titles. It's time to take the fame away from Bama

All of them. That is the goal. I don't see any SEC team that is head and shoulders better than us. We must play solid ball, but we have the horses it takes.

We also need better qb play.
