Jeff Driskell was really recruited for Urbans Meyers offense. Driskell is struggling as a pocket passer and its not getting better. Offense is imploding.

But we either stick with Driskell or go to the backup(s) and at least see how our backup perform and let them get some game experience.

    Let me hear your opinions.

BACKUPS, who do we have and who needs to get some game experience now?

If it isn't working, it should be changed. Something needs to change. Either the coaches must put Driskell in position to win with his talents or they need to find someone else who can.

I agree we should make a change. Who do we give the first shot at QB?

Yes, you continue to worry about spelling. While we try to right the ship.

See Ohio State offense. JD would do poorly in Urban's offense as well, as he can't throw the ball and makes poor decisions.

I have many, many more worries about this team than the spelling of his name. Trust me lol

Well someone should have seen last year that our QB was not good and ascertained a good qb in this past class. But no one did. So we are expected to get Grier who is the best dual threat QB from what I have heard. So if we wanted a pure pocket passer I think we would have got one in this class.

We are in a tough spot because...we really don't have a choice this year. If there were a player who shows promise then we can play them some but that player just isn't on the roster. Now if you are aiming for a losing season then you can try anything and everyone, including QBs who don't show enough in practice.

I think you have to ride JD this year and next and hope for the best. Maybe the D can lead us to 10 wins a year this year and next including a bowl win in the Citrus. Redshirt Grier and plan for a run in 2015 with a red shirt freshman at QB. Other teams manage to make runs with young QBs so I don't see why we cant.

Either that or throw Grier into the fire next year but I put the odds of JD getting benched his senior year at 1%. Our last two QBs we signed were basically for emergency depth reasons and Murphy should be a receiver.

It is pretty clear that we will not be able execute an effective offense while JD is starting. See the over throw of Dunbar in the endzone followed by the horrid interception across the middle. That is all I need to see about his ability to read a defense or throw a half way accurate pass. He is making mistakes a Junior QB should not.

Tyler is not a championship QB either.

Jeff is our best option until Grier comes in and I still think we give grier a RS year to bulk up a little bit;.

Tough spot is right. We have the only guy we can have right now. Hopefully Chris Leak can impart some wisdom.

Muschamp put himself in this spot by believing he can run a slow offense that wouldnt attack a defense full of 75 year old women because he thinks he can control turnovers being on the sideline.

The only QB on the team with any type of experience is Tyler Murphy.

Tyler is not a Division 1 QB. Best offer was Temple until Addazzio decided we needed another Connecticut QB. He went 0-2 with Connecticut QB recruits.

You have to give Jeff credit for the multiple throws that he completed while taking a hit to keep the offense moving. He has continued issues inside the red zone with making stupid mistakes/throws. But other than that I think he is fine.
