If we had our whole team, we are actually pretty good. #1 defense with Easely, better OL if Dunker stayed and Chaz healthy.

This year there are no dominant teams, if we could have stayed healthy I believe we could have competed for a championship this season. Sadly not with a depleted team. You can't win if you dont have depth at the LOS.

Really, this needed another thread? Are you trying to set the record with the number of redundant, negative threads? We suck right now, I get, you get it, everybody gets it. Geez, do you pick at scabs, too? Step away from the computer and enjoy life a little.

As I see it, we have an exceptional defense and an offense that's well below average. IF we had an average offense, we'd probably be undefeated right now. I can't help but wonder if the offensive philosophy (i.e., long time of possession and "grind it out") of this team actually contributes to more injuries on offense.

No, I watch it a lot, but I admit I've missed all the televised USF games.

We have the talent, How does Urban ,I dont like him, but respect his records, and Strong stepped into a program and have a offense, we hire Pease the best as some said and we just stink up the field for 3 years top 100 on offense,Coaching is the connected problem, if we did not have the defense we had would be without any wins, now defense is upset and team is in possible mutiny?

So should we have a communication blackout. Two weeks ago I was banned for suggesting the team didn't look so hot. Now the tide has changed and everybody, according to you, agrees we suck. This trend all happened in two weeks. Don't you find this a bit perplexing?
Now I am to the contrary to what you think. The dark days are over for me. I'm ready for the new and improved Gators when and if and I will enjoy the rest of the season no matter what. How about you?

even if healthy, uf has too many talent gaps and coaching issues to compete for a title. Hopefully 2014 is a lot better.

Totally agree. The injuries are a b.s. excuse that only mask how average this team still would have been and how deficient the coaching has been.

Aside from Easley, Fowler, and a young hargreaves I'm not sure this team has any real special players that have been true difference makers. Three stand out players, all on defense, does not make a title contender.

And if you are going to have an average roster you better have excellent coaching top to bottom, which we're not even close to having right now.

The Louisville game was also a massive melt down on both sides of the ball.

Playing for possibly the Music City Bowl is not what I ever thought could happen to this team. Wonder how many Gator fans would travel at 6-6, assuming we beat Georgia Southern and Vandy and lose the other 3, SC, UGA, FSU?

Maybe the same number that went to the Sugar Bowl in 2009.

If we're average, they've lowered the standards for what's average.

We may be an average Division 1 team, but we are a below average SEC team. We are average on defense and at the bottom on offense.

Any normal year I totally agree, but our defense was THAT good and there aren't any dominant teams in CFB this year. We could have beaten any team we played when we had all our depth.

My thing is this, when people want to go all crazy and say we suck or were just average... I just want them to acknowledge that at the beginning of this season we were a pretty decent team instead of just simply saying that we suck or whatever.
