... Based on what I'm seeing here in north charlotte, Will Grier looking good 40-6. Seeing a few others in their orange and blue out here in the rain.

Seems like every team they play, they destroy. Is the competition not good, or are they that good?

Why would Leak be there? He's in South Carolina with the team. Unless I missed something.

Grier's competition is anything but decent. It makes JD and K.Taylors high school competition look like the SEC.

In fact Grier plays 8 on 8 football because the schools are too small to field full teams.

You have to consider the league. As far as the o-line, I don't think will has been touched. The other QB for the opponent isn't bad

I thought JD played decent competition but his own team was real bad as the football program was new. Obviously they at least played Lakeland. Do I have this wrong?

JD's school is in the largest division for Florida high schools.

Ok, I guess it was just JD's team that was terrible. In the case I would like to rephrase my statement to Grier's competition makes the defenses John Brantley and K.Taylor destroyed look like Florida's 2006 defense.

Grier is good, but I'm sure it will take him a little bit to get used to the speed of the college/SEC game coming from the competition he plays.

Probably so. We have no idea how good he can be on the collegiate level yet. Not only that but also our o-line issues. I would prefer have him red-shirted for good reasons. imo

yep. Oveido was bad. I do remember watching Driskel light up Lakelands defense all by himself though. Had like 500 total yards. still lost

I wouldn't have been surprised if Leak would have scooted up the interstate from Columbia to see his future QB. Got to met Will after the game. He is a fine young man and well spoken. He was humbled by the hand full of gator fans who were there to watch him play. His mechanics are awesome. Extremely quick release and even his hand-offs were very crafted with his RB.
