will you be watching any of the super regionals on tv or the CWS - even w/out the gators involved?

sort of a treat, in a way, for the games to be on tv. remember the days when nothing was shown - except [maybe] one or two games in omaha?

there was a time when i wouldn't have cared that much but my interest in college baseball grows annually - and especially gator baseball. so i'll catch a game or two in the supers. really not much else on that interests me anyway this weekend. and the CWS is always fun to watch.

one thing about catching 'other' non-gator games - you see [sometimes] the mistakes other teams make. i would imagine similar game thread meltdowns on those internet fan boards. we're not alone in not getting that clutch hit or serving up a meatball in a key moment of the game.

I will be, I too get more interested in college baseball each year. We have some nice series this weekend too. UNC SC is one that jumps out to me.

Absolutely will watch all the games I can. Love the whole college baseball experience. Yes I am empty because we are not in there but we have done pretty darn well lately.

Love watching Carlos Rodon from NC State bring it. Pulling for Indiana to win the Supers and hopefully go all the way.

Never count out the Cocks however. Those guys just knows how to turn it up a notch when its time.

My prediction Vandy will win it. I think they have the best roster. I am not an SEC homer so I hope they don't.. well maybe Vandy

    I will watch.

I would also recommend you make a trip to Omaha, been there once and had a blast.

It is a neat trip, especially with your family.

I love the CWS and the pursuit to get there. For the longest time, I couldn't understand why the heck they'd have the event in the middle of nowhere. Finally I got a chance to go, and I fully understand and can't wait to get back. I'm glad I've been a Final Four, but I don't like what it's become compared to what it used to be. I know some folks prefer Rosenblatt, but most of the folks that can set aside the nostalgia of that specific ballpark appreciate the location and the upgrades that the new park has. I used to think Jhfxof was nuts when he talked about Omaha being the best of the championship events. It's taken a while, but I've finally come around to agree with him.

Other than the football team playing in the Rose Bowl for the National Championship, I don't think there's a championship opportunity I'd rather see for UF than the baseball team having a shot in Omaha.

Even when FLORIDA is not competing, I enjoy watching the other playoff games unfold. Sometimes having a team to root against can make games almost as entertaining as having a team to root for.

I went to Omaha last year, and will be back. What a great experience it was. The town and people are awesome. I've been to two football BCS Championship games, three SEC Championships (football) and I think Omaha trumps them all.

I agree with the others. I was at the 2006 MNC against OSU. I went to the '06 and '07 FFs. I have been to Atlanta for the SECCG. Nothing beats Omaha. I have been 3 times and believe it to be the best sporting event in American sports. Fantastic trip. My wife and I were highly tempted last year to fly back spur of the moment from Europe just for the CWS.

I would argue my second favorite sporting event I have ever been to was UF-MSU baseball in Starkvegas. A blast. No other way to say it. Oxford is prettier and Sdtarkvegas itself is dull but Dudy-Noble is a top notch experience. The Box has nothing on Starkvegas and I have been to Alex Box twice including Z's bomb off Matty Ott that silenced that place. That ball was crushed. Almost as far as LaPorta's in Omaha in 2005. I swear that ball landed in the Missouri.

Here's hoping Sully and the guys get back on track, so we can enjoy watching our team get another crack in the coming years. Go Gators.

Choice, I've got them in a draw. Pulling for them as well (this year at least). Also have UNC and NC State...but given the ACC's history, my hopes are with the Titans.

FSU can obviously still win here, but this Indiana team is just flat out legit. It reminds me of watching Stony Brook at LSU last year. This is no accidental upset with a hot pitcher or a couple of fluke base hits. They're just good.

Indiana escapes by the skin of their teeth. FSU had it to 10-9 and had 2nd & 3rd with 1 out in the 9th.

That Indiana game was a fun one to watch. Thought for sure they were going to blow it in the 9th.

Meh. probably not. Only thing I care about now is the Clowns losing and an SEC team winning.

Can check the box score for that
