I have a cousin that lived on the Long Island when this happened and says there are many witnesses that saw a missile.

OK, 'old story', I can understand. But please, do tell how it was supposedly discredited, when hundreds of eye witnesses were essentially ignored.

Maybe he's not going to say anything in order to have material for a rebuttal movie.

You mean other than the official investigation that said it was most likely an internal explosion?

Nothing perks up the antennae, quite like:

"...move on...there's nothing to see here...".

The fuselage is almost completely put back together, if it were a missile it would be clear.
If there were terrorists committing it they would have claimed it.
If it were a terrorist why would we admit to it on the Pan Am plane a few years prior and not this one?
Why would we put thousands of other flights at risk by not addressing the risk?

    Just doesn't make sense rationally.

    It clearly is not rational.

Assuming, for argument sake [only] that it happened, the following questions would have to be answered:

    1. Was it an accident? If so, what caused the accident, where did the accident occur, who was responsible for it, what steps have been taken to remedy it and why haven't hundreds upon hundreds of law suits been filed?

    2. Was it intentional? If so, who took the action needed to fire a missile? Was more than one person involved? How could the missile have been launched without a direct order to do so? Was it launched from a ship or from land? Why wasn't it reported to the Pentagon, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the President and Congress? Why hasn't Congress investigated it? Why wasn't the person court-martialed? Why haven't hundreds upon hundreds of lawuits been filed under the Federal Tort Claims Act?

    3. If it was an action taken by terrorists, where were the interceptor aircraft? Was the missile launched from an aircraft? If so, what aircraft? Why would the aircraft not have been shot down by air defense aircraft? Would and could a terrorist attack have been kept secret for years? If so, why and at whose order?

Are Martians still in cold storage at Area 51?

Because Bill Clinton wasn't president when the Pan Am plane was bombed. Clinton couldn't be bothered with terrorists, at least of the foreign variety. (Homegrown rednecks like McVeigh were okay, a black eye for the militias.) Therefore TWA 800 was not a terrorist attack (whether it was or not). Everyone got the memo.

Was electing and re-electing a gangster and rapist from Arkansas rational?

BTW why did Clinton aide George Stephanopolous (sp) refer to the "downing of TWA Flight 800" on TV?

Oh, and why did the head FBI investigator (who was just on TV calling the missile theory "nonsensical") refer to the "bombing of TWA Flight 800" on TV?

Just slips of the tongue, naturally. Which no one in the lapdog media pointed out. No comment whatsoever on the "slips."
