No way, no how. Let them deal with their own problems. From all appearances it won't be over if we stay there another hundred years.

We should have NEVER invaded Iraq in the first place. Who's decision was that?

As I recall... Hillary, a bunch of her friends on the left, and a bunch of their friends on the right. Last I checked Bush and company couldn't go in without their say so.

Now if Obama were President back then I am confident he wouldn't give a rats arse what Congress said. You know, like Libya, Syria, etc., etc.

I'm not saying Obama would have gone in. Just saying Obama wouldn't wait for a vote from Congress before going if he wanted to go.

29 Dem Senators voted for the war in Iraq. Gotta love the revisionist history by the overpaid fat white people in the liberal media.

Yep. Those Democratic Senators (especially those on several committees who voted yes, saw the exact same intel that Bush saw).

When Obamacare flops, it will somehow get pinned on Pubs even though it got ZERO Pub votes in the House or Senate. That is pretty frickin amazing. I'm still pissed over the cram job that was.

Allowing Iraq to become a failed state is not in the interests of the United States. If that happens AQ will fill the vacuum and use Iraq in the same way that it used Afghanistan. I am not in favor of sending US troops again but it would be in our long term interests to support the Iraqi government with advisers, weapons and training. The Gulf states, which would face danger from an AQ controlled Iraq, should pay for this aid in the same way that they are supporting Egypt during its troubles. Kuwait, for example, has the money and motive to prevent the failure of the Iraqi government.

A war on a concept will never be over. We have been effective in decimating Al Qaeda, but they are like cock roaches.

Iraq was carved out of the old Ottoman Empire by the British. They have old tribal loyalties that we cannot fix and we should not even try.

What we need to do is explain to them that, even when you if have a legitimate gripe against us, knocking over buildings on our own soil is not a good idea. Look at the results. Arabs and Muslims wanted us out of their lands, but after 9/11, we are there more than can be counted.

We in the west do self reflection...it is time the Muslims and Arabs did the same.

LOL...It could be said to be over when attacking us on our own soil brings no fruit.

The irony is that attacking us to stop our intervention caused even more intervention.
