Not the way it works.
thats not an NCAA thing…I thought he wasn't enrolled in the fall due to not qualifying academically
he did take his first non-dunk shot…I sure hope he's better than that.
Haha, he had a couple that ricocheted off the backboard like they were had been shot out of a cannon.
I think you are right. My mistake to insinuate it was the NCAA. It still leaves us wondering what it would have been like to have had him from the start of practice this year.
I think that's the only shot he's missed. Not much of a "sample" statistically.
You are talking about something entirely different. You are talking about the legitimacy of the NCAA as a legislative body and the ruling it handed down on Walker. Now, you may have a point (personally, I disagree, but I would much rather talk about Gator hoops than defend the NCAA, so I won't waste any time on this), but that wasn't the point that was made: DD said the NCAA dragged their feet, which they didn't. Unfortunately, Walker failed to qualify in fall, which had nothing to do with the NCAA, and as a result his suspension could not begin until after he became eligible for game competition. Consequently, he has played the maximum number of games he possibly could have played. Has nothing to do with the NCAA's lethargy, no matter how much we have been making that accusation the previous six weeks.
I thought the latter was is what you intended. Had Walker been eligible for entry in fall, then he could have participated in fall conditioning and individual drills, plus October camp, and his suspension would have been up by the Richmond game.
Yeah, but that's just rookie over-excitement at getting into the game, combined with finding yourself facing a defender who's as tall as you are. He'll settle down.
Hall, if he gained 10 lbs, he must have lost that and a few more practicing and running. Rail thin.
I guess I am hoping he stays another year to work on his body and game. His maturity level would increase and be better prepared for what all the money will bring.
Don't know since I haven't read anything more on it. But 10 lbs on his frame is not going to show up that much. Some people gain weight faster than others and trying to put on a lot during the course of the season is probably not a practical expectation.
wonder if he's trying to look 'thicker' by wearing knee pads on his shins?
