I made it known the day he inked his LOI that I thought VH3 was the best corner on the team. It's not really debateable. I hope, regardless of other players draft status, he gets the #1 CB postition at some point this season. He's a blanket and is the most talented CB we've ever had at UF.

Am I wrong? Roberson seeemd to be picked on by Toledo!

I think you are crazy. I dont know how you can tell he is the best CB on the team. I also dont know how you can say he is the best CB in the program history after one game

Will be. I've been watching HS film and following recruiting since '92. I've never seen a kid so college ready. Haden wasn't even a cb till he got to campus, and Janoris really improved when he got on campus.

I said most talented ever. Not best ever... yet.

I am not sure if it was the coverage the coaches called, but it looked like Roberson was getting cooked all game. Hope it was just one bad game.

I said talented. Not best. But I do think he is the best right now, and again, I don't think it's close. I know you think Purifoy (who cares so much about playing that he watched from his dorm room) and Roberson are lock down, but I just don't see it. At all.

He will be something special... but I don't see how he takes over a CB job this year.

Roberson was going up against their #1 WR and almost never had safety help. The few times I saw VH3 he had help over the top... so yeah, Roberson was being picked on because he had a much tougher job, and that was by design.

The kid looked good and his future is very bright, but the Gators have a wealth of talent at DB, especially CB. I thought Roberson was fine at CB, except for the one penalty. I don't get the criticism.

For me Riggs was the MVP of the DBs, not a head hunter but he was everywhere. They will all get a better test next week.

VH3 is gonna be a superstar and a future top 10 pick. But do people understand that there's more to playing cornerback than just making a good play on the ball? How's his tackling ability at this point? Can he blitz from the corner? How is he in run support? All only known to the coaching staff.

Lol. His tackling ability is probably the best too, maybe scond only to Purifoy. He's an absolute beast. Meh, we'll see.

We live in a sports world where the backup is always better than the starter in a lot of people's minds.

I came to this thread expecting to see something about his interception and generally good game rather than a gushing declaration of undebatable greatness amongst his peers.

    Brilliant :)

Roberson has been picked on game after game
But not just him Purifoy,Watkins, and Riggs.
We have been lucky the last couple of years to have not faced a GREAT QB
who is accurate.Like the kid from Louisville.
You might say what about the kid from Ga.
Well we have lost to them the last 2 years

Go look at the game film on D and tell me who played best at the cb position against Toledo. Brilliant is right.
