The incident early last week when WW2 vets had made the trip to DC to visit their memorial was heartfelt and sincere.

    This cheapens it:

No it doesn't the WWII memorial is privately funded. Hussein had NO right to shut it down.

yeah it does. it turns an honest desire to visit the memorial into a cheap partisan stunt.

From news reports, this was a protest or publicity stunt rather than any meaningful gesture toward Vets.

They're lucky they were not arrested or shot like the lady last week.

The WW2 Memorial is an open air exhibit that needs very little if any monitoring- it being shut down was part of the regimes attempt to put as much hardship on every American out there

Nowhere near as cheapen as the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT rally with some of the top Democrats in Congress participating in the ILLEGAL RALLY. We can see where the Dermocrat priorities lie.

i'm not a big fan of blocking traffic. make your point but don't interrupt everyone else's lives. just not polite.

This topic is about the Tea Party/Vet rally and march to the WH....not the illegal immigrant rally.

From what I know about the illegal immigrant protest, it was peaceful....I don't recall hearing there was a march to the WH and confrontation with police.
