An unreal athlete. He is NFL ready right now. Murphy stopping the pick six from going all the way and VHIII making the monster pick in the end zone on a perfectly thrown ball saved the game. It was over at that point IMO.

    He's a beautiful player.

Certainly the best true frosh I can remember... at any position... we've had. He's right up their with Emmitt at this point.

He did give up his first completion of the year, tonight, so he is human.

Best lockdown corner in all of football. He could start for an NFL team right now. I'm not kidding. If he keeps his head on straight and keeps adding to his game you will be talking all time great at his position. College and pros. Go Gata!

Haden got burned countless times early in his career (think 2007). Great athlete, but took a couple of seasons to become NFL-ready.

VHIII came ready right out of the box. No assembly required.

It may be too soon, but this kid maybe the most gifted and talented player to wear orange and blue. Let's hope he continues to use it well.

Yep, I agree. Unreal maturity and football IQ for his age.

Haden got burned a lot his freshman year (2007), then somehow he transformed himself into a stud DB a year later and he shut everybody down. We were so loaded that year with Haden and Janoris pretty much locking down AJ Green and Julio Jones back in 2008

It's amazing. When there's a deep ball on his side, you feel like you can breathe easy before the ball even falls

Haden wasn't even close to VHIII at this point. With Haden you could see his athleticism, but he was just learning how to play corner and played so soft he was constantly giving up yards.

VHIII looks like a 3 time All American senior but its really just his 4th game. It's just astounding.

And I wasn't one buying the hype about him in the preseason. But I'm a believer now.

What impresses me is how he is always in perfect position and has his head turned and eyes on the QB while running with the WR. Young DBs never seem to have their head turned until the ball is there and that is a big reason for getting beat and getting pass interference calls.

When he gave up that incompletion I thought it had to be offensive pass interference or something.
