    The Lonely Guy

He’s a community organizer who works alone. What was once his greatest strength—he kept his cool and didn’t need feedback—is now a liability.

There's been quite a few articles on the personality of our current POTUS, and this is another one that seems to paint with the same brush as the others. Thought it was interesting, especially considering the source.

Probably more true than anyone in the WH wants to admit.

It's interesting to me all of the things I've read about Obama not being a "people person" and he seems to struggle to really like people sometimes.

What did he know & when did he know it? Not much & only in the past minute seems to be the standard response.

This seems to be a recurring theme, especially among liberals who wish that Obama would engage more with those outside his circle. Obama seems to have a very un-politician like makeup, which is surprising for anyone who has ascended to the presidency. Being Pope would probably have been a better fit personality-wise: wave to the cheering throngs, issue the occasional edict, grant audiences to supplicants who kiss the ring, etc.

How doe we know he "keeps his cool." Because he does well with sound bytes and softball interviews? Media brainwashing at its finest.

she is the puppet master of this Manchurian candidate posing in the WH right now. always find it odd that their relationship is not probed in depth to determine just how much she is shaping his policy. when these kids running things grow up, somebody will realize 0 didn't really have magical robes and VJ couldn't really turn them to stone with one stare and they will write a good book.

Yep, he's on a need to know basis.

Benghazi, Fast & Furious, Obozocare.com crashing? Nah, he don't need to know that!

Yeah, the smartest President ever just found out about those by reading the paper. What a joke.

Why would Obama like other people? He's extremely narcissistic. Other people are hopelessly stupid in his eyes. Only Obama has all the answers. He was known as "the Great Pontificator" in college because was constantly giving speeches to tell other people what to think. He's already decided (before his first term ended) that he is one of the best four presidents of all time.

I don't think it's as extreme as that.

I think Obama is probably a bit narcissistic, as I think a majority of politicians from both sides who reach those levels of power are. I do think he's a bit more egotistical than most, but what I really think is that he saw the title and power of being POTUS, without really knowing the details, sold himself out for it - and now has realized it's not really what it's cracked up to be. He likes the title, likes the power, likes the benefits(especially golfing and traveling), but overall, I don't think he's really that interested in trying to lead the country towards something greater, and I'm not sure he even thinks about such things.
