Only thing that could make this better is if Ron Zook ran in and broke it up.
What do you think this is a freaking frat house?
I don't know. If he was really the one that deserved Addazio's job, then why is he still a position coach at a lower-tier SEC school 5 years after the split while Addazio has had 2 head coaching gigs?
Sometimes guys just get their breaks...
A position coach get picked to be a head coach... he's done a decent job as a position coach... not fantastic... but an okay job. He interviews for a head coaching job and because he nails the interview... he gets the job. Then it is easier to get another head coaching job once you have already had one.
Meanwhile the other guy might have been a better selection but he is still mired with that "Assistant Coach" label.
Sad but true...
I could tell you some stories of some former assistant coaches that were at Florida back in the early 70's.
They were so out of it for one reason or another that you would be amazed at where they had to take residence.
Did Meyer cry at all? Does anyone know? If so, I would pay to see that, pay a whole lot to see it actually. After seeing it, I could die a happy man, a very, very happy man.
Man..... I just felt so warm and fuzzy inside after reading this.
Whether story is true or not--I would really love to see LSUFreak take this scenario and run with it. Could be an epic.
Tim shouldn't get germs on his hands...
I. Be the words out of urbs mouth was "don't make me get wife to square you up...or bring you pepperoni with extra cheese!"
Say uncle! Say it! Or I won't let go
How do you not recognize your newest "circle of trust" member.
We have the titles, Meyer still is a weasel
It's not even close, SOS is modern gator football, he did more for our program than anybody else can or will. He put us on the map, u cannot replicate that. He is the head gator, behind me of course.
