Well, he is a complete moron for his finger being on the trigger. ALWAYS treat a gun as if it's loaded even though you know the weapon is in fact empty. Your finger should only be on the trigger when you're ready to pull the trigger.

    BTW moved to too hot

there was a quote from another player who was graduating the same year as Hernandez left, basically stating that Hernandez will either end up an star, or in jail..

    prophetic

I saw this before in a post yesterday and for some reason I believe it. I UF coach (don't know who) said AHern is either going to end up in the Hall of Fame or in jail. I think any UF player that ends up in the HOF will end up in the ROH.

He disgusts me. Better have a jackhammer on his brick over on the SE corner of BHG right now. If Vernon's time here has been wiped clean so should his.

Amen brother, I just happen to be attending UF during the VM days, so that situation sticks out at me like a sore thumb.

I met some wild UGA girls at the Landing the night of the 1998 UF/UGA game. Vernon bought everyone one shot after another. A buddy and I benefited greatly from his generosity towards these girls. For one night Mad Max was my hero. :)

WOW, he was still coming around then. Surprises me a little after all that went down.

That he took a picture with a gun? I don't find it very surprising when they just took 5 from his house.

I disagree. He was never in trouble while at UF, as far as I know. Nothing he does later in life changes the fact that he was a great player for us. I see no reason why his time as a Gator should be "wiped clean" over something he did long after leaving Gainesville.

That is true, as much as OJ makes me sick, he has to be one of the top 10 backs of all time and he sure was fun to watch.

    AH-is he really this dumb?

Some acts (murder and pedophilia) are so egregious that I'd prefer we don't honor their names around campus. I can certainly understand your POV though.

"Orlando Sentinel reported Hernandez was questioned by Gainesville police about a shooting that injured two men after a Gators game later that fall. Friends from Connecticut were with Hernandez that night, the Sentinel reported. Hernandez was suspended for the 2008 season opener and later acknowledged the suspension was punishment for testing positive for marijuana."

True or not - the picture does state that it was taken in 2009 while he was still a Gator.

I might be wrong for saying this but looking at stats and murders who really needs a gun in Gville.
117 murders where Im at and adjusting the population for gainesville to balance out - you'd only be at 30 per year - n on a lite year.
