Can't believe that there is no interest in one of our most successful sports. Our volleyball team lost at Missouri on the same weekend that football lost to Missouri. Not a good weekend for Gators in the "Show Me State" which they did.

It's a showdown of top 10 teams which the Gators have to win.

Looking forward to it and glad to see it was picked up by SunSports locally.

    From the match notes:
The UF vs. Missouri match will be the FIRST top-10 SEC match (any team) since the Gators (10) and LSU Tigers (6) squared off in Baton Rouge Nov. 24, 1991, head coach Mary Wise’s first season in Gainesville

That is pretty remarkable and you can only hope that, win or lose tonight, getting a match like this late in the season should help the team to be much more prepared for the level of play in the NCAAs than they often are.

Mizzou went on a run to steal game 1, and have clearly been the better team half way thru game 2.
UF will really have to pick it up to extend this match out. Looks like a great crowd

    Lost in 3 (25-22, 25-23, 25-23).

Each set was down to the wire, tied at 20-20 or later, and we didn't pass well and got stuck in some bad rotations. Disappointing loss, but better now than in the NCAAs.

It is kind of concerning that we seem to have a QB (setting) controversy all of a sudden late in the season, with Braunais getting benched mid-match a few matches in a row now. Our backup is quite good but that's a tough adjustment for the whole team.

Caught 2 of the games on TV, some very high level volleyball, Gators just could not get a winning point at crunch time. Credit Mizzou, very good team.

Florida again has a nice little (undersized) team. A decent NCAA draw will probably get them to the last 16 where they probably lose again.
