I generally like KY players, but Cousins is an ass clown.
Ulis is lucky that Wilby will be gone will be gone next year. Not because Wilby necessarily would want revenge, but all guards in the SEC are lucky will be gone next year.
Kasey will abuse him enough
Cousins is one of my favorite Wildcats....I understand the hate lol
Ulis can play......BUT he needs to shut his damn mouth as he has done nothing!!
I have two rules when it comes to talking trash:
1 - Don't do it.
2 - If you're going to do it, you better be able to back it up.
Sure, they're contradictory. I'd error towards rule number 1. Seems I've gotta hope Ulis is picking number 2, seeing as how he apparently ignored the first one. Saying the SEC POY isn't "good"
How are you guys having a discussion about unlikable Wildcats and Saul Smith hasn't been brought up?
I loved Saul because he sucked, but got a lot of playing time
I have met him a few rimes and he acted like an ass, that is where I formed my opinion. On the other hand I thought Wall was gonna be a jerk, but was actually very likeable. Ulis can play. But he is tiny and he is no Hill so I look forward to Kasey abusing him
Still, you'll be rooting for that idiot.
He's a head case who ought to be in REM08's therapist chair but Bert won't leave it....
Your damn right, but he's my idiot....he will get social media training.
Totally agree with you. Yet for some reason, never coaching or playing a minute of college ball doesn't stop anonymous internet posters from ripping coaches and players all the time.
That's true but most message board posters won't be in the spotlight or on the court after making such statements. They also won't have to play in front of the team's crazed fans.
I agree 100% We have it all wrong. This is what Cal does. He brings in brash young kids who need a father figure. He then spends the entire time molding them into the young men that he desires for them to be.
In short... he will spend anywhere from 9-12 months playing the roll of a screaming stepdad before kicking his "son" out of the house and giving his bedroom to his newest step kid.
Give Cal time guys. He is changing lives.
Massive logic fail. Do you understand the difference between fans discussing sports and a kid who is about to enter the SEC talking shit about the reigning SEC Player of the Year? If not, there is no hope for you.
Ulis would not be able to even get a shot off against Scottie.
Cal is the surrogate father of the year, or is that surrogate father for a year.
Coach K and Self need some flack as well
How so? Some of Self's best products were developmental kids like Robinson, Aldrich, the Morris twins. Heck, even McLemore wasn't considered an early entry kid and redshirted for a year. This year was the exception for them.
Same with Duke. Irving was the top pick, so you can't fault him for going, and Rivers was just butt stupid. But they've had precious few one and done kids, or even early entrants, since 2007.
Calipari is the exception, not the rule. I don't think anyone would complain about Wall, Cousins, Knight, Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist, Randle, or even Noel going. It is when Orton, Teague, Lamb, Goodwin, etc., obviously see little reason to stay around Lexington and mature/develop--and Calipari advertises them being selected on the basis of talent alone as a reflection on the success of his program. It isn't. It just isn't. In most cases, those kids actually could have gone higher out of high school or after their freshman years (Lamb, Jones come to mind) than by staying another year.
