LOL. Yeah I'm in the carry some cash with me boat as well. I once was travelling and had no cash on me. Got to a place that their card readers were down. I had money but no way to get to it. So I had to find an ATM which isn't always easy when you're not familiar with the area. I decided then that I'd always have cash on me as there is nowhere that doesn't take it and it's never down due to communication issues with a server.

Incorrect. They may have colluded to cheat, but that was never proven. Butts sued the Saturday Evening Post over the story and won at every level up to the US Supreme Court. Bryant sued as well, and the Saturday Evening Post settled with him.

That's cool. Personally I try not to come up with possible negatives to every scenario. In my opinion it is much more likely that the guy likes to carry more cash than your average person than that he is jeopardizing his entire career by committing some type of recruitment violation or something while at a NC game where all the national sports and celebrity media will be.

I guess you prefer to see a world where everyone has nefarious motives and a team that is competing for a national title, resides in one of the most talent rich areas of the nation, and has an exciting offense featuring a true freshmen quarterback needs to pay a recruit $1320 or something.

Edit to add: not that you are lying, but what do you do that allows you to make significantly more than $275,000/year and also post on an internet forum at 10:00 AM on a working Friday? It always seems message board people are Astronaut Space Cowboy Millionaires like Peter Griffin while finding the time to reply back to my probably stupid commentary.

I think the "they're stealing our plays" excuse has already been used when you are getting an ass beating. I would hope for something more creative in the future.

Or why a Hawaiian family ups and moves to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. From Roy Moore to Alabama football, the place is a redneck cesspool of no life jock-sniffer kleptocrats.

Hes a boss in a medical company and he's kind of a big deal. He went to like 8 schools of which uf was the worst. He has an alter ego named bill and mary.

Jk. He's one of our best posters here in my opinion. I'm curious what he does though too lol

That's a very famous libel case. The Saturday Evening Post ran a story based on a Georgia insurance agent who said he accidentally overheard a phone call between Butts and Bryant where the coaches agreed that UGA would throw the game.
The coaches sued and won the case, though there are still claims that the story was correct.

All I said was it was fishy and not normal.

I didn't say anything about the NCAA. My first thought was he was lying to collect the insurance money. After that I considered he might be a bag guy for Bama. But I didn't say either of those things.

But congrats on being such a positive guy! I think its sweet you don't have the common sense to see something as suspicious when it clearly is.

Fwiw I own my own business. I generally work about 4 hours per day, usually between 10:30 and 2:30 and I think my post generally reflect that. I don't actually make more than the Bama coach though. And I never said 'significantly more.' You added that yourself for some (dishonest) reason.

I should have said 'we' as in my wife and I combined make more, if that makes you any happier?

Publish your accounts or it didn't happen.

    And medical records.

And we want blood samples or none of your posts or positive reps have ever been legit, Sean. You know the rules. Sleeves up, man...

Kirby Smart spent eight years as the architect of Nick's defense. He had absolutely no need to steal a playbook from a defensive assisstant... He could probably write it from memory as it is likely exactly the same as his playbook.

So the guy leaves his backpack and it gets stolen, and all of a sudden UGA is cheating? Sounds like a reach.

Same guy reports to the police that he had some cash in his backpack (which isn’t a particularly outlandish number when traveling), and all of a sudden he’s a bagman?

I understand that Bama pays well and that we don’t like UGA...and this is a message board, but aren’t we jumping to conclusions a bit? Lol

That egocentric Nole spin artist was full of it. He was one of the worst posters here which is why he was banned. "Ya Ya Ya Ya Ya I am billand mary".

Once was in DC for business and needed to take a cab back to the airport after long trip. Did not have enough cash to get taxi and none of the cab drivers would take a credit card. Finally convinced inevto take me to an ATM first. Have always carried more cash since. All the coaches get paid more for coaching in Bowl games and also get travel, meals and lodging paid for at away games.
