Couldn't agree more … he's a strange dude. Incredibly happy that he doesn't represent my University.

He was complimentary of our team, but seems like he keeps blaming the freshmen.

I'm so tired of hearing him saying "they played like freshman", THEY ARE FRESHMAN!! You built the team that way - You can't use it as an excuse.

He's saying that playing freshmen against seniors tends to bring out the worst at the worst time. He was proud of his team not giving up and at 8 minutes actually thought they could beat us. Then he goes on to say they took the worst 2 shots of the year and it cost them the game. I don't remember those shots so I can't debate them.

Sorry, but he is FOS as a Christmas turkey. He is a helluva recruiter, (he could sell ice makers to Eskimos) but is an average X &O's coach. As long as he is there I hope they lose them all.

I thought he was pretty candid in his answers. He's disappointed that they haven't progressed more than they have, and he was complimentary to our team.

What else can he say when he has been completely dethroned as the "team to beat" in the SEC. They have lost while at 25 before this game. The only thing keeping them ranked is name brand

They've lost a game while they were ranked #25 before this game. They shouldn't have been ranked coming in.

Yep, within the first minute he goes into the blame game with his own players in the sights. Then excuse after excuse.

I thought he was very complimentary of UF and his assessment of the game was completely fair. Some people just want to hate Calipari, but I don't. I would have no problem at all if Calipari was our coach if Billy D weren't here.

That's not to say he isn't a little arrogant at times, but that isn't a problem for me, we did have Spurrier after all.

    I'm going to be honest.
He is one of the best coaches in college basketball, but I think he is cracking some. I think the pressure he put on himself by being so successful the first few years has made any level of failure a dog pile. Two straight disappointing years with a fan base like UK is not easy, just like it wouldn't be with UF football. He doesn't help it of course, by not down playing things like 40-0 and almost embracing them...but I think he has to start to realize he can't just have one and dones. His 2012 team was special, it had everything needed for an incredible team, but it was because of the attitude of the elite players, not because they were elite players. When a top tier guy goes to UK, he usually isn't going for the name on the front, he is going for the paycheck at the end now. That's something Cal has created, and the bed is hard and rough when it doesn't work.

    Gag!

I really have a hard time understanding how a collegiate fan base can support the "product" he puts on the floor. There is no pretense that they are there to represent UK, there is not even a sham suggestion that they are student athletes.

I should think that true UK fans would have to routinely wipe the slime off--or take lots of cold showers. The Administration and faculty at UK shouldn't be able to look in the mirror with that situation common knowledge across the nation.

Compare that situation to four seniors going through senior day and leading their team to the kind of success they have enjoyed. I understand that they will all graduate before they leave. No wonder the Gator students and fan base embrace them; they have got to know them. They feel like they are part of the University of Florida.

Your comments just don't register with me. Nor with Billy Donovan. Nor, I should think, with any Gator fans.

As for Calipari. His all stars have never learned to play as a team for 40 minutes of basketball. That is terrible coaching.
