Lets get some good vibes going. If it's a nooner I cannot attend. 3:30 pm or later I'm good.

    Come on football gods!

I'd prefer an afternoon game since I have to catch a flight out of Gainesville early Sun morning.

I'm driving up from Miami. If it's a noon game it's going to kill me.

We need a night game, but Arkie may have messed the mojo with that loss to Rutgers.

How on earth can I be expected to cook a bunch of pig if it's a nooner?

we should know by early afternoon, unless CBS opts for the 6 day option, which they would be looking at two games in particular, ours (because of Murphy) at Kentucky and A & M at Arky

I think Kentucky vs South Carolina will be the 12:21 game. CBS most likely pick between Georgia vs Tennessee and Arkansas vs Florida and the other is the ESPN night game.

CBS has got to be hoping Arkansas does something against TAMU. Do they really want to broadcast another UT game after what they displayed over the weekend?

Here is the SEC schedule for Week 6

    Ole Miss vs Auburn
    Arkansas vs Florida
    Missouri vs Vanderbilt
    LSU vs Mississippi State
    Kentucky vs South Carolina
    Georgia State vs Alabama
    Georgia vs Tennessee

None of these matchups is very appealing. CBS might pick Ole Miss vs Auburn if Ole miss upsets Alabama (doubt it). Remember no team can show on CBS more than 5 times so CBS will probably save LSU appearance for us, Bama, A&M, and Arkansas. If Georgia beats LSU, they will pick Georgia/Tennessee.

    If I'm CBS, I go Ole Miss-Auburn. Or LSU-State.

I doubt they will pick LSU because they will likely want Florida-LSU the following week. I've got to believe it will be Georgia-Tennessee, since UT should be much better at home

How long has this been around? CBS showed six of our games in 2009 and seven if you count the SECCG.

CBS plays the ratings game, which leads me to believe they'll choose between LSU, Florida, and Georgia/Tennessee. Of those three, I think the Georgia/Tennessee game is the one they'll lean toward. They could always do the right thing though and pick the actual SEC game of the week, which would probably be Auburn/Ole Miss.

I do think we'll be the noon game or the night game on ESPN. We are long overdue for a night game but if CBS picks Georgia @ Tennessee, the Auburn/Ole Miss game will likely take the night slot on ESPN. That leaves the noon game for Florida/Arkansas or LSU/MSU.

We'll find out in about 30 minutes most likely but this could be one of those CBS uses the six-day selection for.

Just announced. Six day Window: We're either on at 3:30 on CBS or 7pm on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
