Read your first post: "I haven't been pleased all season that we aren't developing a pass catching TE. Even Pease commented on it today, If Trey Burton is supposed to be the answer for a catching TE, it didn't happen as he disappeared for much of the game at LSU."

Then read the second post (from me)...I said, "I think you meant Clay Burton"...then you posted, "I meant Trey Burton. Brent Pease commented in his presser today that he was trying to get TE catches to Trey Burton. I realize Clay has hands of stone."

So are you disgruntled w/ Trey or Clay? Make up your mind, dude!

Exactly, just because they are better in practice doesn't mean they don't choke when the lights are on and the crowd gets loud. If the starter isn't getting it done see if the next guy has more heart. I think of Tebow's pro career when I think of this. He's a gamer and obviously didn't do well in practice but in a game it brings out his best. At least the final two minutes anyway...

What about the other 3 quarters? Tebow doesn't have a job right now that was not a good example

That's why I added the final two minutes. Was definitely a poor example but he's definitely a gamer. My main point was some players turn it up a notch or two when the lights are on and the pressure is at it's peak while others can't handle the pressure and basically piss themselves.

I'm not disgruntled with Trey. He can't help that the coaches are asking him to do what Jordan Reed did last season.

I'm not disgruntled with Clay other than accepting that he is a blocker and is not a pass catching threat.

I'm disgruntled with the coaches for not developing a pass catching TE, not some hybrid TE or whatever AZ calls it.

    Hope this is clear.

Prepare for mediocrity. This team is taking on a 6-6 to 7-5 look to it.

So you are mad one player left and the other got kicked off the team? Because the only player on the roster that could end up being a pass catcher at the TE position is a true sophomore who came in about 45 lbs lite. Maybe the staff should have kept the women beater

Might want to see how we respond before going there. Just a thought.

this could be true but do you think Kent Taylor playing TE and Bostwick seeing significant time at Tackle are going to say us from that record?
