A couple points: 1. I can't believe no one's commented on the hustle on tackling the defender! Tyler was the only one with a shot at him, and initially, I thought there was no way he would catch him. Dude was seriously on jets (packs?)to even get there, and then made the play (a lot of QBs would whiff). To me, this sums up Tyler Murphy. Every QB is going to throw INTs, but how many are going to make up for it? Most stand and watch the play go by. Tyler won the game for us with that tackle. 2. Is this another example of bad route running? It reminded of the Driskel pick six. To me, Jones should've been running more laterally but actually had an upfield angle to his route. IMO, this made it very easy for the route to be "jumped". 3. Finally, contrary to what other knee-jerk posts were saying, what on Earth were we doing throwing the ball? I believe it was third and a short 3, we were already chewing up clock, already in FG range, and our RBs (both Matt and Mack) were wearing down the UK defense, gaining 3 yds a clip on the recent previous runs. I had just turned to my wife in the stands and said "We have two downs to gain 3 yards. We aren't going to throw another pass tonight. This is classic Muschamp football". Then next play, INT.
