Maybe the O-line will respond to this leadership.

Line is banged up and doesn't have much depth. Not sure if they'll be able to increase in ability quickly.

Great post - I watched it too and was impressed with his demeanor and maturity.

We have the talent - just need more coaching....and some execution thrown in for good measure.

Our O line will continue to struggle against the better defensive lines. Improvement will occur in the coming years with depth added through recruiting. Maybe if we play the way top recruits want to play we can attract them here.

In other words. O line is a lost cause. Look to the future. Build towards the future.

I agree 100%. He is doing far more than I expected. But he still needs to make plays when they are there to be made. That TD pass to Dunbar was a huge miss. Just like the pass Driskel missed in the Miami game. Of course, the same goes for the OL protection when Burton came across the middle for a sure first down, maybe TD. Football is definitely a game of inches.

to make that pass to Dunbar would've been a brilliant pass, Dunbar was open but only if you are able to drop it in a bucket over the linebackers and before he runs out of the end zone, that is a pass that he might make five times out of 10 next year but he's only been taking first-team snaps for three weeks now, that is a tough pass to make

Murph played well. He was under major pressure all day. He had some open receivers down field for TD's but could not get enough protection to get the ball out. Let's win the East

So is this a different Oline or the same one Jeff has had for 2yrs?......someone also tell me again about Tyler's picket presence....how many balls were batted down at the line of scrimmage today?.... But on another note, why did we not attempt anything down field today? Jeff had the same problem, now I'm not so sure it was him. We did absolutely nothing to back the Defense off of us. It was check down after check down. There again some of the same stuff we used to see Jeff do. A lot if similar features in bad games by our QBs, who is coaching them up?

I get that but he did drill that LSU linebacker in the face mask with the ball..... But my point is more towards who is developing our QBs? Our TEs? BTW...... Tyler hasn't beaten LSU, Jeff has.....

I'm not sure we have the talent on the OL.

If you go back to the Miami game ther was no where close to the pressure that TM had from LSU. I still feel that TM is the better QB and that neither are going to do much with the OL I saw today.

if you remember that game... jeff did just about everything he could to lose that game. gilly and the D won it. but yeah tyler didn't play a perfect game by any stretch. i really think its an offensive line problem. if they can't protect it doesn't even give the skill position guys any chance to make plays.

He hit the defender in the facemask because the receiver didn't get his head around and ran away from the pass. That happen several times today and the announcers even commented on it. Maybe you are Jeffs dad I am not sure but Florida does not win today with any QB because they OL can't pick up the the extra guy and the receivers don't get the hot reads.
