If he already hasn't convinced you up to this point, there is no denying now. Murphy is the real deal and todays game was on the people around him and not on him at all. He made some great plays despite having almost no blocking.

I don't want to turn this into a thread bashing Jeff or anything but I don't think there is any doubt who should be starting next season.

Agreed, Murphy was not the reason we lost today.

I did not see it as you did. I'm not saying he played bad. But I don't think he passed the "test."
I still think he is a good QB though. He had an off game. The whole offense did.

I thought Christy was better than Murphy ... 100% completion pct for 14 yard average ...

And Murphy was a much better punter. 100% of his punts were downed within the 2 yard line. Maybe our coaches should recognize offensive talent and have them switch positions!

So you think he failed the test?

No big mistakes in his first road test. He did fine.

He wasnt the reason we lost, but he sure didnt show me anything new. He made a few bad throws when he did have some time, too. I would like to see him take some shots down the field when possible, reduce the dinky passes underneath. Of course, our Oline needs to also imorove. Murphy will be fine.

I think Murphy and Driskel shared the same problem -- pass plays that are designed to be long in developing. We cannot protect for that long, so we need to use more short, quick passes (and I don't mean bubble screens). We're not going to have a downfield passing attack with this line -- not against a good defense.

Yes, he did fine. Played within his abilities. :)

Murph is the least of our worries on offense. We need some major help at OL.

Go ahead and tell us why he was bad. We're all waiting on your expertise.

Agreed. So how do we fix it? I think it will be years before that improves with Muschamp's emphasis on defense and I'm not ok with that. I want the offense back. We are stale

Lol... that was sweet! Too bad we didn't win it. That would have been the play of the game.

We need major help on O, period. From coaching down to the players. It's not a very good offense.
I think Murphy is the best QB on this team and will make us happy as things continue to unfold.

Yes, my post wasn't directed at you.....I'm frustrated by an OC and QB's who can't figure out how to beat A TEAM WHO SIMPLY BLITZES LB's over and over.....
