Have people started chanting VH3 yet?
LOL...come on man...you have to do better than that!! You do realize that Hill is rotated out with 3 other backs.....collins is not!
Attempts Yards Yards per carry Touch Downs
Really........Give Jeremy hill 34 more carries and see where he stands stats wise! If he stayed at his yards per carry average that would put him at 848 yards total and no telling how many more touch downs!
But you will get to see first hand saturday exactly how good he is.
Don't worry, vshouse, I'm sure you've got a lot more corndogs in your backup cooler.
You know dude....I never really got the smells like corn dogs analagy....but to each his own!
Isn't this the same Hill that was shut out last year? I recall the same comments about YOUR 4 HORSEMAN LAST YEAR.
How did that work out for Hill?
Yeah, you usually get used to your own smell. It isn't an "analagy," though.
He torched us for 8 yards.
You forgot to close that quote, so I'll finish it for you.
".... out of severe pity from the media, after HE GOT HIS ASS BEAT."
Jeremy Hill was the 4th back in as a freshman last year.....
he had 2 carries for 8 yards and 1 reception for 20 yards.....so..no you have not gotten a taste of jeremy hill yet! Oh....and the difference this year....is if you put 8-9 up in the box mettenberger will light you up over the top therefore forcing you to keep two safeties back in coverage, opening up the run game. And....your in our house this year..... remember the score the last time you were here....since you want to thread in the past!
If Georgia can handle Hill, I am not particularly worried.
South Carolina, Mike Davis 9 ypc
Clemson: Roderick McDowell, 6 ypc
Tennessee, Rajion Neal, 5.3 ypc
LSU, Jeremy Hill, 4.1 ypc
I mean you have to actively work hard to rush for fewer than 5 yards per carry against UGA.
The 2011 Gator Football team was the worst Gator Football team in the last however many years. I think you knew that already, though
Maybe so....I do not doubt that.....the last five years we were very one dimensional, you stack the box to stop the run.....everyone knew that, this year is different because of the passing game. However......this may be the worst defense I can ever remember seeing at LSU.
It seems most here are giving LSU's offense a lot of credit to date. However, you seem to believe that our Defense is not good enough to respect.
Your offensive line was better last year and your STABLE of RB's were better last year and this Defense that you give no chance SHUT THEM DOWN. Your offense got better but SO DID OUR DEFENSE...
I am expecting a close game with us pulling it out because WINS generally favor the team with the better Defense and that is clearly on our side.
LOL....you may want to go back and look see if you can find where I or anyone else said Florida has NO chance....I said it will be a good game, I just think home field advantage, and a young QB for you guys will be tough to overcome, but I expect a 28-24 type game, that could go either way.....and all I said was that "IF" Lsu got to 150 yards rushing that the game was over. I think our O-line is pretty close to what we were last year.....but, we are better everywhere else....except we do not have a spencer ware, I KNOW you guys are better defensively than you were last year, but were are more balanced.
This is just complete wishful thinking. No quarterback, including those a lot better than Mettshisface and some who are starting in the NFL today, has lit up the Gator secondary in 2 seasons. I think we can stack the box with 8 or 9 and our secondary is good enough to cover man to man. Rival fans coming to this board and stating this kind of thing as absolute fact does not make for civilized discussion of an upcoming game.
Collins doesn't have a Qb lighting it up w/ 2 nfl WR's like hill does. Everyone expects arky to run and collins is still killing it. No one has the ability to play man to man like UF. Lets see how hill handles it when tue lanes are not wide open.
Being balanced against us, still remains to be seen. DEFENSE'S disrupt balance and I expect you to be unbalanced.
Really looking forward to this game. Like you said, it could go either way...Hoping for a physical tight ball game..
