Our 11-win season last year was largely based on our great turnover margin outside the Georgia game. The problem is that teams almost never repeat having that kind of turnover advantage in consecutive years.

The game is lost on turnovers because we cannot play from behind as we have no offense. Period.

It was more than turnovers. It was a laundry list of dumb shiz. We should have won by 20.

The play calling in the redzone today was terrible. A loss of 4 on 1st and goal from the wild cat is a killer. Running a 1 option route on the biggest play of the game is not good. Running a WB sneak on 4th and 1 into the teeth of the D on the weak side was awful. Where were the unbalanced lines today?

I don't disagree, but at this point its obvious Driskel is not the guy at QB. I doubt that Murphy is the answer either but I'd like to see him get a shot.

It's troubling, though, that I'm not sure we had an alternative given how nonexistent our running game was. I don't think that was a great run defense we played today and I don't think I saw anybody on our line hold a block all day. If we can't run, we may be looking at more of these types of games.

Still, it's early and this was not an SEC game. Champ can use this film as a real "teaching moment" lol. All of our season goals are ahead of us. :ninja:

My lord, could he have been any worse? Driskel was a turnover machine today. At some point you need to stop the bleeding.

    Bingo! Tilly gets it!!!

QUOTE=tilly;6796585]Play calling? Sure. I hear ya. Fine
But the calls were good enough.

Players have to protect the ball.
Most of our TOs were on pass plays.

We need to sit guys. QB included who cant protect the football.

Agreed - if we had a QB who could protect the ball we could have won this one.
