All that stuck out to me from Sam's draft is that it took as long as his first comments to the press to imply that he is already being discriminated against when he said he should have gone in first three rounds.

Demarcus Walker might get suspended, too, for "smh"-ing praise for Sam -- seems even a heavy sigh in the direction of Michael Sam is going to be a disciplinary action in the NFL for however many years he is there.

The rams better hope he's good enough to make the team. No cutting of the first gay man will be tolerated.

Aren't the people objecting to Sam's actions just being politically correct? "I don't like it, so you shouldn't show it!"

    How is it different?

I think the point isn't that he's gay or it was inappropriate, but the double standard or hypocrisy that may exist when people criticize others one thing, but won't allow criticism for another.

like the people who criticize Sam's display and don't like it when Tebow is criticized? Like that?

by the way, who is not allowing?

Good for Walker. He's absolutely correct.

This is what happens when society becomes dangerously close to not being free anymore.

The people who were fined and suspended for one view and not the other?

He dropped in the draft because he blew donkey balls at the combine.

That said, he was SEC defensive player of the year.

I think he deserved to be drafted but not in the first 3 rounds.

He was always projected to be a late round draft pick even before the Combine.

Nope, and the reason has been brought up many times. He's a man without a position in the NFL.

7th round, this was no surprise at all. His combination of size and speed has been the problem.

There are many articles that don't say that. He would have never been a 2nd or 3rd pick for reason I already stated. He is not a solid fit for a DE or a LB in the NFL. There is an SI article that says he possibly might have been a mid to late round prior to his announcement, but that is stretching it a bit IMO.

Well it's not even really an article. It's the player database at NFLDraftScout.com.

He was listed at 90 in that database before the announcement and combine. That's a fact. Then dropped to 160 after the announcement (also fact) and then post combine was drafted 7th round (also fact).

Can you show me an article or database that was published pre-announcement & pre-combine that said he was at best a 5th rounder?
