    Hijack Alert!

All of the discussions are very appropriate and I will add this one point: this is Year 3 and we came into the season being told that we were there, at least along the OLine. Yes, the Green injury seems to be a lot worse than what we presumed, given our depth, but the rest has to be either about lack of proper training, bad talent evaluation, or just plain not telling us what is really happening on the team. None of them is a good sign for the coaches. And as I have stated several times, the Oline coach needs to get his resume up to date 'cause I think he will be hitting the streets the next day after our season comes to an end. JMHO

I know just about everyone gets dinged up by this time of year, but Humphries has not been the same since he got hurt and missed some time earlier this season

The Green injury, plus the Dunker dismissal, plus the Halapio injury, plus the Moore injury... and oneatatime is indicating Humphries might have gotten injured too. i wasn't aware of that. The injuries and attrition have been devastating.

But there's still issues around missed assignments that injuries don't explain and the coaches need to fix.

Debrickshaw Ferguson, who is a pro-bowl LT, started as a 260lb Freshman.

Not too worried about bad habits from a 285lb LT. Isn't he facing 240 to 260lb DEs for the most part?

Moot for this week anyway, since Humphries will not play.

If Moore is really going to LT, as Pease said, they must think that his knee will not limit him as much on that side. I hope they are right. OTH, it may be a little misinformation program to get the DAWGS to focus their rush schemes on that side and suddenly find someone they don't expect. But, who?

Pease did say that they are adjusting the blocking scheme. Clearly, a very good idea.

No, run KT, run. When he has them on their heels, Murphy can pick them apart at his leisure.

I'll agree to disagree on DJ... I think he is already developing bad habits. from what I was seeing. Although I reserve the right to be wrong on that... and would much prefer to be wrong. :joecool:

I do agree with you on Moore... maybe some misinfo and we see Garcia there. Agree it's good we're simplifying and clarifying blocking schemes, and definitely want to feed them a healthy dose of KT and blend in play action. All good. Lots of attitude and energy and take it to them hard.

It's odd to me that OL aren't lining up to play here when we are in such desperate need of OL. We aren't seeing the entire picture, that's for sure.

Me too! I figure though, if he gets beat, it's a lot longer path around him to Murphy at least.

Our only chance is if we really bring it and Georgia is flat, they are the better team.
