Has been taking first team reps at RT last two weeks according to Pease press conference today.
Hope has very quick feet or has a TE to help with the DE's first step!
Amen to that.
Wonder if Moore slides into a guard spot. I think Moore is a good player and an asset, but OG is where he belongs.
As long as he forces the DE wide and upfield the QB can move up or into the spot vacated if needed.
and with as wide as Brown is, pushing him that far would be damn near the sideline
Smash somebody, please.
Bad work ethic, out of shape.. whatever. This is great news.
Can't be any slower than Moore. He looked like he was wearing concrete cleats against Mizzou.
I like this starting O-line: LT Garcia,LG Moore,C Harrison,RG Halapio,RT Brown. This is the best line we can put on the field. God be with them! Go Gators.
I support this. Even if he is very slow, so is Moore...the difference is that Brown will destroy everyone in run blocking while Moore is not really overpowering in run blocking.
Sounds about right if Halapio and Moore are both healthy... not sure about the torn pec or Moore's knee. Koehne could feel either spot as well if either isn't healthy.
Rotate in DJ at tackle if we need to pass more, and Brown is having trouble with speed rushes.
If Halapiole is injured, he should be resting
maybe we'll see a lot of KT behind T Brown....also just his sheer size creates a problem if the DE is using outside technique
I think he should rest either way, injured or uninjured.
He should have been starting after we lost to LSU. I'd have benched both starting OT's after that game.
if he can't play OT....could he possibly look at DT? In the John Henderson/Marcus Stroud mode?
Saw a '15 mock draft that had Humphries in the top 10 the other day.
